Big and beautiful monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just set this big monitor up on my desk and am LOVING it. First off, it is beautifully designed and esthetically pleasing. I love the look of this thing sitting on my desk. Second, it has all kinds of cords and connections. I have a mac and frequently struggle to get connected to monitors without a bunch of adapters. This monitor came with USB-C hookups and the cords to do it. It was a great experience for a mac user. Third, it has great color and clarity. I am a designer and have been impressed with the visual quality. Lastly, I love how easy it is to tilt up & down, and swivel left and right. I like being able to adapt the screen to different positions as I move around my desk.
Pros: Affordable, Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a beautiful 4K 27 inch IPS screen monitor. Ever since covid pandemic like most people I have been working from home. I use a lot of Word docs, spreadsheets, pdfs. Having 27 inch of gorgeous real estate to do it on is just fantastic! It was very easy to set up with an HDMI cable. Love the sharp colors and deep contrast. My husband did some gaming on it too and loved the experience. Great work monitor to have. The 4k resolution is just stunning. Would highly recommend it!

Looking to upgrade to a 4K 27-inch monitor for new 2018 MacMini. The resolution and color right out of the box on the HP Z 27 are outstanding, connected via HDMI. With its variety of ports, you're getting a future-proof monitor. Nice, heavyweight stand, totally adjustable. User controls for onscreen display are intuitive. Front has a think mat-black bezel and rear is mat-black with understated HP and Z27 logos. It's not only a functional but beautiful 4k monitor. Also love HP's three-year warranty.

Okay, the resolution is great just as the NY Times review stated, but it is not compatible with my 2015 MacBook Pro. Each time my laptop goes to sleep for any length of time, I have to redo all my settings. Also, who puts all the ports in the most inconvenient place on the monitor? HP does. I want to send it back but I can't (not HP's fault-you got it, THE VIRUS). I guess I'll keep calling till the return department is open again.

I've never had any issues with a display...until this one. There are many problems:
-it don't stay connected to my laptop over USB-C. It drops the connection entirely and then reconnects every few moments.
-i bought another USB-C cable and this one at least will hold the connection. Maybe HP ships a substandard cable?
-there is a lag over 4K. what is the point of using a high quality monitor when you get a lag?

I'm still investing time in trying to get this to work (again, in 30 years I've never had to do anything to get a display to work as advertised other than plug it in) but will likely return this display.

had it for several weeks now. picture is great. connects easy - I work from home and tend to move it around the house with me so reconnecting easy is nice. would love it to be a bit lighter but Im sure thats probably a symptom of all 27" monitors. All-in-all, I do recommend highly and would buy again.,

Great display for our employees

We currently have about 10 of these displays in our company, and the employees that have them love them! The colors are bright, crisp and clear, and the small bezel around the display adds a nice touch. The USB-C Functionality is nice for quick hoteling as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to go with my new Z4G4 workstation but after hooking it up I found out there are no speakers in monitor. Also when plugging a flash drive into the side of monitor the pc doesn't recognize it so not sure how that's suppose to work.
