Directions and informational booklet are not clear: does not say what ports are for input (calls them “upstream”? I think?) some cords work and some don’t, and I had to get a special cord for my MacBook Pro. Not compatible with my chromebook. Have to switch it out of power saving mode in order to successfully hook up to MacBook Pro. Buttons and menu are not intuitive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful Monitor!

Screen is big enough for all your tasks, picture is perfect, colors are dazzling, text is sharp and crisp, the ports on the sides are amazingly useful and it has the best mount i've had on a monitor so far. Been using this for work and the huge screen size can fit anything you need. Stock trading programs fit perfectly and display beautifully, can fit excel documents or web pages side by side with ample room, or have 5 different windows open and get your work done, it can handle it all. Text is sharp, no blurry text here so you can easily get your work down, read, browse the web with no problem. If watching a video or editing pictures the color is vibrant and pops off the screen, watching a 4K video is a revelation on this screen and a real Joy. I have it with a 3 monitor setup and it worked flawlessly right out of the box, i did not even have to change the settings, just pluged into Display port and was ready to do. Mount is great and can be moved up/down. left/right and tilted as well. USB ports on the monitor are great as well. A+++++ HP has really outdone themselves with this Monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the box, I was in awe at how stunningly sleek this monitor is. The monitor consists of 2 different parks that snap together, it is VERY easy to do. Once the monitor is snapped into the stand, you can adjust it how ever you'd like. It has a one touch adjustment that is extremely fluid and easy to work with. You can tilt and turn the monitor as well as adjust it at the base. The base is very sturdy and holds the monitor in place without feeling top heavy. This is truly the most beautiful monitor I've ever had the pleasure of working with.
The monitor has a DP, Mini DP, HDMI, USB Type-C, and Built-In USB 3.0 Hub so you have multiple different options for connectivity which makes it extremely versatile. You have a power button and 4 different menu buttons hidden on the bottom right of the monitor which keeps the design flowing really well.
The display is vivid, true to color, & gorgeous! I am blown away with how beautifully and crisp everything appears to be. It's versatile for everything from spreadsheets, to photography, to gaming and movies. The picture is stunning and you won't be disappointed in this monitor for any project you are using it for. The only draw back is that it doesn't have built in speakers, so if you want to use it for movies, gaming, or music, you will need to use the optional speaker hookup. With that being said, this has been one of the best additions to my home office space and I can't recommend it enough. Truly, you will not be disappointed in this beauty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor mainly for work (and playing movies). The construction is solid, it looks very high end and the picture is crisp and accurate right out of the box. The USB Type-C port works perfectly with my 13 inch macbook pro (2016 model, maxed out configuration), I don't see any issue like insufficient power or any issue with the cable, it just works. It does come with 2 Type-C ports and 3 regular USB ports, but only one Type-C port (the one on the bottom) actually transmits video signal. The regular USB ports work like a hub.
Its height is easily adjustable, one touch, very smooth mechanism. And since it can rotate, swivel (shake head) and tilt (nod), it basically can adjust to whatever position you like. Assembling the screen onto the base it is super easy. Slide and push, and it just locks. took me 2 seconds. No screws or any tool required. There's a button on the bottom of the screen to unlock screen from base.
Overall I'm very satisfied and highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor has an excellent picture, I love it! For its initial test, I played some 8k video on it and the picture quality blows away that of my TV...truly impressive. I used the included stand and it goes on super easy with no tools. It also has the standard VESA wall mount point on the back if you go that route. The stand it comes with has all kinds of adjustment and flexibility to get the monitor to the perfect viewing position. The only part that i'm not crazy about is the locations of the connection ports for the monitor, they are directly on the bottom edge pointing down towards the desk. This location causes all the cables to stick straight down out of the bottom of the monitor. Also, the ports are spaced out apart from each other making it difficult to velcro the cables together into one bundle. The cables don't look pretty at all coming out the bottom, but it works. I was able to use longer cables to loop them up from the bottom of the monitor and bring them up to where the monitor connects to the stand on the back and route them back behind the desk from there. Doing this made it look much better, but you still see the cables and connectors hanging below the monitor. Not a deal breaker, but caused it to lose 1 star in my review. Besides for the cable management problem, then this is the best monitor i've ever used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 27" high definition monitor has exceeded all my expectations for a contemporary 4K UHD monitor for professional and gamers! The display is so surreal; the color is crisp and accurate, making my old monitors feel obsolete. This monitor is perfect when connected to my computing laptop for data processing. The multiple USB-C ports and cable make charging my devices a breeze and the performance is perfection. One cable connecting the monitor provides audio & video and powers my laptop, providing the functionality of a docking station. The size of the monitor is perfect for my home office and allows me to see all of my work come to life through a new lens. The monitor is fully adjustable for both tilt and rotation, which is awesome! All the features on this monitor are meticulously design for form and function and everything control is intuitive to understand. I am very impressed with the overall quality and performance of this UHD monitor and I strongly suggest others to purchase this product!
