BEWARE!

I bought this fridge last April, when we were beginning some renovations. It stayed in its box till we were ready to move it in. The door is hinged on the right and CONTRARY TO THE ONLINE MANUEL, it cannot be changed!! It has some--but not all--of the holes needed to make the change. The store where we bought it will not accept it as a return because it has been too long. LG's service line says we cannot alter it to reverse the door (would need to drill new holes in some places) without voiding the warranty. We now own a useless but expensive white box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Refrigerator door has no handle just a indentation

The paint is wearing off the door as there is no handle just a indentation to put your hand in to open the door. Therefore the paint has worn off and it is just the raw metal. It is a poor design and the company will not warranty this problem. There are no children here just 2 adults. This problem had started after about 8 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with the quality of my LG LTCS20120W refrigerator. I'm glad that LG is selling less de lux models in the USA. I didn't want an icemaker or a huge fridge. The LTCS20120W is perfect for me. I wanted an LG because of their quality. The LG is quiet compared to other refrigerators I've had. I like that the back of the unit doesn't have exposed piping that I have to clean.
I have two problems with my new fridge.
1. The refrigerator is dark. The fridge was well lit when empty, but when I put food in it, it got dark. The lights are bright, but the food blocks the light from a lot of the fridge. I think it really needs an additional top light. (see the photo)
2. The freezer door is a hard to close. I'm worried that I might think it was closed when it isn't. The magnetic strip around the door is attaching on the right side and holding the door open. The rest of the magnetic strip isn't attaching unless pushed.
I found a bonus.
All of the online photos I saw showed only two shelves on the door. My refrigerator came with three.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just recieved my LTCS20120 TODAY . I was shocked did not arrive with basics like egg holder or ice trays or worst thing: NO meat drawer . I really am mad .ive been trying to find a part i could BUY to remedy the situation i figure ok ill have to pay 100 dollars . i dont care i need a place to store the luncheon stuff . no dice they have nothing... i even asked them to see if another similar fridge has a replacement part that would fit mine - ( all inside pictures look very similar, except they . have a built in ice maker and , a "Pantry drawer it slides out and it would have been great but not for my new stupid thoughtlessly made fridge.They would not give me the replacement part number for that pantry drawer becasue it . was not original to my fridge , all i care about is if it would fit! it is fits why not? TERRIBLE! so disappointed. the fridge is a fridge, but NOT designed well darn it! you know what's really sad? we are one by one replacing everything and i study and research and have been buying LG exclusively so far this THING and a really great over the stove microwave. CHECK THE DETAILS . hope i helped someone. <3

Recessed handles were a desired option when we shopped, as our place is not that big and any saving of even the smallest bit was important.
The only seemingly down side to the refrigerator is the lack of a deli-type bin.

It’s super quiet which is my number one feature for an open living area. Modern in looks, bright internal lighting and everything is perfectly cooled to my liking. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I am pleased. Bought this refrigerator to replace an old similar size unit. There are a couple of features that were in my old unit if included in the Lg unit would in my opinion add to the Lg unit. The Lg unit has an optional ice maker which I did not want because it takes up to much of the freezer space. However my unit did not even include ice cube trays? (glad that I kept the trays from my old unit). The Lg freezer does not even have a shelf to help separate items, items are just piled into the freezer, making it a search adventure to retrieve items. Additionally the control unit in the refrigerator take up a considerable amount of space, greatly reducing the size and number of items that can be stored on the top shelf. Lastly the unit does not include a drawer where cheeses and or cold cuts etc. can be stored. There is an optional pantry drawer, which when I contacted Lg was told it was not available for purchase as it can not be used in my unit.
