I got the deep fryer for Christmas. Its my first time using a deep fryer. Used it once to fry calamari. It worked like a charm.

Clean up was not too hard. Basket and inner bowl went in dishwasher, the rest hand washed easily.
The best part was there was no grease splatter anywhere around the fryer. That was the main reason I bought a deep fryer, not to have a greasy mess around my stove and counters to clean up. I should have bought one years ago!
The construction is light weight but sturdy. I think if handled with care it will last a long time.
I would recommend this product.

It's easy to use. Easy to clean. Keeps a constant set temperature. My first batch of fried chicken looked like something out of a magazine! KFC has nothing over me! I have to give this appliance 5 stars. I love it so much and so does my boyfriend that I'm going to buy HIM one for his birthday next month! Bravo, Breville!

I am very pleased with the fryer. I like the temperature options but I just fry everything at the highest setting and I don't use the timer. I have had many fryers but the bigger capacity and higher temperature makes frying easier. I also like how it comes a part for cleaning. Would buy again.

This is the best home frier I have use. It makes excellent Fries thin to Thick cut. Fried Chicken and fish are a breaze temperature stays where it should great results every time and they are not greasy. Changing the oil is not as easy as a pot but its not a hassle either . if your going to cook you better know how to clean up. use it often some times 3 time a week.

I have had this deep fryer for years and it is excellent! Wings, fish, hush puppies, chicken, fries. You name it fries it perfectly! Holds temperature perfectly! Love the presets and that you can customize for whatever you're cooking! The lid keeps the grease in not splattered all over your counter! Highly recommend!
