back splash and shelf

THE INSTALLER HAD NO IDEA HOW TO ASSEMBLE OR INSTALL. kept saying i have never seen one like this, most just attach to the back of the stove.

there are 4 pieces, a top and a lower piece. and 2 cover pieces ... the bottom piece is 25" hi, the top piece 10 1/2" hi. There is no 30", only 1 piece 25" hi and 1 piece 10 1/2" hi. they don't seem to slide together ...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’d like to provide information about the backsplash. The top panel is approximately 14.5”H, while the bottom panel is approximately 25.13”H. We can also advise the ‘adjustable’ height for the backsplash would involve removing the shelf top, if you wish to. Also, as the backsplash is mounted to the wall, it can be mounted 6” up or down depending on the distance needed between the range and the hood.
