Nice Toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son totes this toy around like it's his own personal flashlight. I love how durable this projector is. My son has dropped it on multiple occasions. This system is very easy to operate. My son wishes this projector had the ability of displaying both the stars and slide images together. My only complaint is the images appear as having poor resolution. Even when the projector is within close distance to a wall the images are blurry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect for any child interested in space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been in my daughter's room every night since owning this product. Runs on batteries and haven't had to change them yet. It does shut off automatically after a while which is great since my daughter prefers this now over a night light. Plenty of slides and the pictures are very clear. Highly recommended!

Good gift toy. No surprises.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave planetarium projector to my 8 year old daughter and it was received very well. The toy itself is not very small, but is OK -- it's a good size for a child's toy. The quality of the item is reasonable -- it's plastic as expected. It is a "standard" build quality that should last a while, and physically looks nice enough to keep out with the other toys. While the box recommends for ages 6+, and my 8 year old liked it. I think younger children may also really enjoy it -- for example, I can imagine 3+ year olds may enjoy it, but the younger kids may need basic help with operation.
Functionality is OK. It takes (3) AA batteries and about 1 minute of initial assembly out of the box and then you are off and running. We used it in a dark bedroom and it worked well in there. Hopefully it's pretty obvious you probably don't want to use it regularly in a brightly lit room.
After doing a quick search online, I see others share my biggest complaint -- more content! It comes with a few projector discs of content, but from what I can tell, that's it. It would be nice to even sell additional add on content if possible. So far, I haven't seen any. That said, it's usually a good sign when your biggest complaint is that you want "more".

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really cool educational toy. My kids love looking at all the different planets and stars. Very simple to use. The picture quality is very good and clear, although I wish the pictures were labeled. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old boy really likes this Toy Space and Planetarium Projector. We both were surprised at how life-like the slide pictures looked. They are extremely detailed. One cool feature is that you can flip the projector over to see stars too. I also liked that this is cordless so you don’t have to drag around cords and you can place the toy anywhere you want to.

Great for any little space enthusiast

My mom lives in the country, so we’re able to really see them when we visit, but unfortunately we live too far into the city to see much. So when I saw this, I grabbed it quick for my sons room, and I’m so glad I did! The photos of the planets are crisp and clear, and the stars moving part is beautiful and the perfect night light for kiddos who might still need one but don’t want an obvious one for sleep overs. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Discovery Planetarium Projector 2-in-1 Stars and Planet Projection is a great STEM toy for kids. The box says 6+ but my one and four year old absolutely loved this toy. Looking at the 24 photo slides was fun and educational. It comes with three discs that are easy to insert and switch. Only draw back for the planet projector is I don’t know what some of the slides are. It would have been great if this toy came with a booklet that identifies what each slide is. The star projection side was really cool to see as well. The blue “stars” slowly rotate off the ceiling and walls. The star projector side makes a low humming sound; which doesn’t bother me. The projector requires three AA batteries that’s not included. Overall, this projector is an awesome toy for any kiddo who is excited about STEM, stars, planets, and/or space. I recommend this toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Toy Space and Planetarium Projector, is great for children of all ages. Every member of our family engages in the projector activity. We also, use the toy for scouting, and sleep overs. As the galaxies and stars move across ceilings and walls, much excitement is brought to the watching faces. This toy encourages interaction, and the imagination. The toy is quality made, and holds up nicely to each play session. The fact that the projector is motorized, is very helpful during each display. The focal ring really helps focus the slides in a large or small space. I highly recommend the Toy Space and Planetarium Projector for inspiring minds alike!
