Exceedingly fast on SATA III mSATA slot on mini Gigabyte MB sold as barebones in cube shape, about same size as Intel NUC. Has i7-5775R CPU. Wow is all I can say. Running 64-bit Ubuntu Linux 18.04.1. Purchased from MicroCenter OP, KS.

Linux runs fast on 860 EVO

Few months ago, I bought the 860 EVO for Linux Mint 19.1 and Debian 9.7 on Thinkpad. Use both Ext4 and XFS. Partitioning went smoothly (gparted - UEFI).
Both Mint and Debian run extremely fast. I also bought 860 EVO - SATA. Installed
Ubuntu 18.04 on it. All running perfectly.
Grade: 10/10
