Very nice hood with great features!!!

Very nice features, can be controlled from anywhere I. The house with the remote, especially in the morning when my daughter is walking around in the dark, she can use the remote features to turn on the light so as not to disturb others while sleeping.

First hood from GE and very happy. Works well. Fan is pretty quiet. Looks fantastic. Comes with a remote but can’t see using it.

Misinformation! Ceiling height!

The primary literature for the hood states that a ceiling height of 7' 7" minimum is required. Not until we purchased the hood did we learn on page 11 of the owner's manual that a height of 7' 10" is required if you are using the hood to recirculate; otherwise the vents are covered on the sides. We have a 7' 8 1/2" ceiling height. This information should not be buried in the literature! Fortunately we had a machine shop who were able to cleanly cut the exterior stainless steel stack down 2 1/2" to expose the ventilation slots. Cost us more and was extremely stressful!

Wonderful product and it matches all of our café appliances. Gives a lot of depth for refrigeration. Perfect spot for us for drinks, milk, eggs, or whatever else we have. Easy for grab and go. Can’t recommend enough:)

JUST GOT THIS NEW HOOD, IT LOOKS VERY NICE AND APPEARS TO BE HAT I EXPECTED. I BIT DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE IT APPEARS THAT IT WAS A RETURN AS WAS MISSING PART OF THE PLASTIC WRAPPING. LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
