Installed but doesn’t work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this hood came to us not working. It was installed and turns out that the motor is stuck. The installation instructions were difficult to comprehend and the final steps installing the duct covers are contradictory. The online video for this model say to do one thing and the written instructions say to do something else. Neither instruction work with the design of the duct covers. Working with my retailer to get the unit fixed or replaced. I’m confident that GE will make this right. We just got a bad hood.

Looks good vent rattles in wind

We'd like to assist with the rattling sound that you're hearing from your hood's vent. We recommend you check to see if you're using the correct size duct. The wrong size duct would cause abnormal sounds. This hood requires 8" ducting to perform optimally.
