Great besides terrible icemaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our 2nd freezer unit in 2.5 years due to a faulty ice maker. We just had the whole unit replaced a few weeks back and this icemaker just broke on us as well. I have to call Jennair today to report the issue. I’m extremely upset and frustrated, as the unit is not cheap. We’ve lived months at a time with no ice from the last unit, and I had high hopes a completely new one would solve our problem. I was sadly mistaken.
Pros: Attractive Design
Cons: Unstable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first freezer I've ever owned where I can see everything in the freezer at a glance (tall and shallow and well-lit). So far, it's been great and I like having an ice bin rather than a door dispenser - particularly after having a Samsung refrigerator/freezer which I'm guessing has the worst ice maker of any manufacturer. We also love that the interior is obsidian which makes it different from every other freezer we looked at.
Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Use, Quality Construction

The freezers ice-maker is TERRIBLE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To the credit of Jennair, they have replaced our freezer twice now so we are on unit #3. This time the ice maker works great... but to a fault. There is no sensor that tells it when the collecton bin is full... so it just keeps pumping it out. While this sure beats the "no ice" we got from the firsst two units, its still annoying!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my 30” inch column freezer for 7 weeks. I am on my 3rd ice maker, 4th repair call and still no ice. I paid too much money for this type of performance.
