Gets job done

Its simple and easy to use but it needs on and off buttons most of the time it doesn't turn off or I have a hard time to turn it off. even if I press a button and I didn't mean to it just stays on all night and I didn't know. So very badly model for the most part.

Works but noisy with surface spots

The dishwasher cleans the dishes well. However it is very noisy and we’ve only had it less than 90 days and there’s already surface spots that will not come off. Very cheap quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We regret to hear you find the dishwasher noisy and that you are having difficulty removing stains on the stainless finish. We apologize for any frustration or inconvenience this may cause you. To clean the stainless finish doors, use Stainless Steel Magic or a similar product using a clean soft cloth. For cleaning rust and tarnish: cleaners with oxalic acid (ex. Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser™) will remove rust, tarnish and small blemishes. Use only a liquid cleanser free of grit and rub in the direction of the brush lines with a damp soft sponge. Do not use appliance wax, polish, bleach or products containing chlorine on Stainless Steel. The sound level of a dishwasher is very difficult to gauge whether it is normal operation without having an authorized GE service location check the unit. Please call 1-800-432-2737 M-F 7am-10pm, Sat 8am-6pm, Sun 8am -6pm EST to schedule a service appointment. We hope to restore your faith in the GE brand. Vikki@GEA

excessive steam from top

when the dishwasher is running, on the last cycle, I have excessive steam, which goes up, hits the bottom of counter, and drips on floor? do you think it is my gasket? no water leaking just tons of steam / vapour.
