I needed to replace our old Range Top because the burners on it wouldn't work. I am very pleased with the flow of the flames and the even heat they give off

Problem with unit leaking - cant get service

Hello. Remodeled the kitchen and really was excited about this Rangetop.....it was installed by a contractor....and it is leaking near the regulator.....either the threads were not good, the nipple from the unit is leaking...but when I gas test it.....it is leaking. I have had to turn it off and wait for Service. I called service twice.....first time I was told someone would come out 6/22.....I waited all day....nobody showed. I called back and the service department now says I am scheduled for July. This is crazy. It is a brand new unit and I cannot use it...or get service. I will change my rating if I can get someone to call me back and get someone to service this unit so I can enjoy it. I spent 8K of GE product to remodel my kitchen...this is not acceptable service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is best cooktop for the home.

We love having six burners. We love how level and easy to slide our pots from one burner to another. The grates are perfect for moving pots and pans around the stovetop. The easy of getting the right flame for your cooking. I can get a low simmer without working about the flame going out or being still Too high of flame. Our previous stovetop, have one special burner for simmer but all the others had the too high a flame problem. On the Cafe Cooktop, all six burners can be use for simmering.
