What good is it if it won't connect?

I've tried everything I can think of to get this to connect to my Wifi. Just gives me the run around. I've got have a dual router 2.4 and 5 GHz. When it brings up the available networks it doesn't list the 2.4 but comments say it won't connect to 5 GHz. I manually type in the 2.4 and my phone is connected to the 2.4 (it recognizes it) then I wait 5 or so minutes and the app asks what the blue light is doing. It's always blinking about once per sec. Then it goes back to the available WiFi list and of course the 2.4 is not listed. Can't really comment on the other 4 areas since IT WONT CONNECT.

Excellent device, easy to install

Bought this to monitor for water leaks while away. But found it useful when at home as well. 2 things would be nice. One, IFTT interface. Two, the app gives usage by hour. I would like to see it in a lesser time frame, ideally minute by minute.

My first one at my house on Molokai works so well, I bought a second one for my house in Honolulu.
Only problem are the ears to hold it to the pipe. Not robust. Am using a hose clamp to hold it to the pipe.

Thank you so much for the review! I just wanted to note we do not recommend using a hose clamp to secure your Monitor. The zip-ties included with your Monitor should have enough strength to secure your device. Please let us know if you need an extra set! The reason we don't recommend using a hose clamp is that the clamp could damage your pipe.

Good product but limited usability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very value added product; was easy to install and calibrate. The updates are almost close to real time and fairly accurate, thats a great thing. However, the fact that it can be installed only indoors is a big limitation. Also the device needs good internet connection and a power outlet too which can be a constraint. Overall a good product, but can use some upgrades.
