Excellent layout / features

This GE stovetop replaces an older Sears Kenmore stovetop (garbage) that was made by GE. I love the stovetop griddle on this GE unit and the burners are well placed. The largest burner doubles as a simmer burner. I love the heavy cast iron grates.

We have used our 36” wide GE Cafe Gas Cooktop for three months and we love it! The versatility is great, the simmer is so gentle and the power burners are just so hot! I love the griddle as well. It cooks evenly and is plenty big enough! Cleans up easily as does the stainless steel base. Love the hefty grate design and distance to flame. We do use the “Off” nob to disable burner use ... a very good feature! We store the heavy griddle when not in use.

Great cooktop

Really love the cooktop especially the lighted knobs. They make it very easy to tell which burner is on at a glance. It does a wonderful job at cooking and the flame is very easy to adjust. Only thing I’d change is the little rubber bumpers on the cooktop under the grates I wish they were on the bottom of the grates not the cooktop itself to help elimate scratching when replacing the grates.

This cooktop is beautiful, sleek, and very efficient at cooking. Water boils very quickly and I love the griddle feature. The lights under the buttons look very modern and the unit was very easy to install.

Kitchen remodel, home at 7,000' altitude so cooking a bit more complicated than at sea level. Range features are excellent for our needs, "Power Boil" feature a welcome plus

I purchased this approximately two months ago and couldn't be happier. First, the burners are hotter for cooking more rapidly. It cleans up easier than my last cook-top. But most of all, I truly enjoy my gill, its great. I can not say enough about this except it's the best cook-top I ever owned.
