Excellent!

Upgraded from a Z-Line hood to match our appliance suite. This one is ultra quiet, even on the boost setting it’s a great deal quieter than our previous one set on low. That in itself sold the unit for me, but it still doubles down with some serious power. I high-sear on cast iron and generate a lot of smoke- the unit has no issues venting out the worst I stir up- beauty and form are one thing, but the product has to work! This one impresses… and looks good to boot! Pricey little unit, but you get what you pay for.

Great vent. Powerful, quiet and sleek. Wish instructions were a tad clearer on the minimum height. We thought that we could install just one chimney piece to reduce visible lines but that isn’t possible as you have to use both chimney inserts. Otherwise, a great and powerful vent hood.

This vent hood has become the centerpiece of my kitchen. Clean lines, sparkling stainless steel, bright halogen lights. Easy to use. Efficient.

we love the vent but dont understand why GE is taking so long to deliver top part to our contractor. We have an ugly pipe for over 3 months waiting on them!!! Very frustrating!

Looks great. Works great. Wife and I (both in our 70's) installed it ourselves with no difficulty, except that we could not figure out how to install the recirculating filters at first. The instructions for everything else are very good, but the instructions for installing the filters are poor, in our view, and we had to ask our dealer for a demonstration.
I would recommend this to a friend!

GE Profile Range Hood

We got this hood installed 2 weeks ago. The look and the design is good. Since the time of installation, we noticed few issues. The light on the hood flickers when we try to set it to night light and the clock doesn't work. The vent seems to work fine so far. We found online that people are facing similar issues as ours. I am surprised that GE didn't find a solution to fix the problem. We called the customer service and they are sending a technician to replace the board which they seem to know that is the issue. I wish GE fixed the issue before they sell the product to the customers. It is under warranty now and GE is taking care of it but I am worried what if it happens after a year, then I will end up paying for something that is faulty to begin with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lighting & Bluetooth Issues

I love the look and fan performance of this hood. My issue is that within 24 hours of installation we had issues with the lighting as well as the boothtooth connection issues. The light flickers on low about 20% of the time. The middle light now only comes on randomly and is off more than on. I have this hood connected via bluetooth to CGS995SELSS GE Cafe Range. The hood disconnects at least once a week from the range.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
