Design Flaw Charcoal Filter

There is a design flaw with the charcoal filters - they are nearly impossible to install and do not stay installed. The installation manual instructions does not match the filters provided by GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful design and excellent function

The design of the hood was the first attraction, but the powerful fan and great lighting make it truly functional as well. The exhaust fan has lots of power but is very quiet. The features of the hood are wonderful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Smart SMART hood

Added this with my smart induction cooktop and connected them, never need to touch the controls again! Turn on the cooktop and the vent & light come on! Finish cooking, turn off the cooktop and a few minutes later the vent & light go off. No fingerprints, quiet as can be, beautifully minimalist design. No more big clunky appliances for me!

GE Vent Hood

Just installed this Hood vent. It looks great. The Wi-Fi connectivity is a cool feature. Really good looking product. Fan is very strong and relatively quiet for the amount of CFM that it pulls.

Good looking and quality features. Installation was not difficult, thanks to the available GE YouTube installation video. The WiFi allows operation from across the room which is a feature that I use much more than I thought. It is quiet and powerful...The stainless used is of excellent quality and looks great.
