Changing the hood lamps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s the day after Christmas and while I should be in a good mood, I tackled the project of replacing the hood light on my café hood, a task that I’ve been putting off for weeks. My prediction couldn’t have been more correct. It took me three or four tools, pain to my fingers, forcing something that shouldn’t be forced and 45 minutes until final triumph to have that come down. Now I’m experiencing a new challenge which is separating the lamp wire at the connection where it should come free without any issue. I’ve given up in hopes that a guest who is coming to my house tonight who is an engineer tonight can figure it out. I will never never buy a café hood again for this reason alone. We are within the first 24 months of the use of the hood and both lights have blown, and I’ve had to go through this twice. Proceed with caution with this type of hood. It looks great, but it shouldn’t be this much of a challenge to change a light.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
