... because this powerful vent/hood may suck them up on full speed. :) Bought this range hood for our remodeled kitchen 2 years ago, and it has worked like a charm. We have the world's most sensitive smoke alarm in the kitchen, but if I use this fan, there's never a problem. This is an expensive product, but it is well worth the money. A friend of mine had a hood in her kitchen which does not have the same power this one does, and the smoke fills her house whenever she uses her grill pan. Not a problem here.

This hood is the perfect compliment to my GE Cafe Rangetop. Can't wait to kick up the heat on the wok and watch the smoke and fumes channel right out of the house.

We ordered this hood as part of an upgrade to appliances for our new home, and we are impressed by its great looks and performance. The aesthetics play a huge part in adding the 'wow factor' of our kitchen...we're so glad we added this hood.
