These anchors solved several problems for me. Able to attach to my camera to link with a third-party strap. Also useful to attach on my backpack to link various items. Strong.

Smart design

Their whole anchor system is very smartly designed...it's strong yet very easy to use. And the fact that they sent me new ones when one was wearing through is the reason why I'm willing to pay for PD products; their lifetime warranty gives me some peace of mind knowing that while I'm paying a bit more than maybe I want to initially, I can use this company's products for a lifetime. And that is worth the premium (not to mention the intelligent design, quality of materials and the fit and finish that they're known for).

It does the job

The anchors do what they are designed to do - connect the camera strap to the camera in a way that allows you to quickly disconnect the strap or change straps/leashes. At first glance they don't inspire confidence - the strand that secures the anchor to the camera doesn't look strong - but in practice they do provide a strong flexible connection. I've found them to be secure and reliable.
