One of the zippers broke after only 2 trips. I am very disappointed - I specifically ordered a Samsonite to replace my old Samsonite suitcase given their reputation for quality and durability. My family has been loyal to the brand for years. The poor quality of my last purchase was surprising and has left me doubting if I'll buy Samsonite products again in the future.
Cons: Bad Zippers, Poor Quality, Tears Easily, Weak Seams

Nice luggage but not stable

I bought this luggage because I like the size and color. The only issue I have with it is that it falls over whether it is empty or full. There is a design defect with the wheels. They are kinda design to roll forward. This was not a one off issue, as I bought a few in different colors and they all had the same tipping over issue. I ended up returning and bought another Samsonite model that does not have a tipping issue at all. It was definitely a flaw with the wheel design in this style. read the reviews.

This is a very nice suitcase. It appears to be well constructed and has appropriate exterior pockets. The handles are well designed and don't appear they will catch and be yanked off. I wish it had a more substantial main zipper, but hopefully the one it has will give me years of service. flk k

I travel back and forth to NYC by train all the time and wanted a small bag I could tote up and down subway steps, roll along the avenues, and fit into my Amtrak or NJ Transit seat. This is a great suitcase for the money, well made, attractive, lightweight, with lots of pockets and a place to pack a nice dress. My one complaint is the zipper can stick a little, but so far so good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because it matches my larger suitcase and small carry-on case. The reason for only 4 stars is that when the smaller case is on top of this case while walking through the airport or hotel lobby it is difficult to roll upright. Also some of the stitching looks questionable.

Very disappointed - They fall over, even when empty.

Very disappointed in these bags they fall over even when there's is nothing in the bag. Extremely frustrating when trying to maneuver through the airport much less even your house prior to leaving for the trip. Only used once and now have no use for them at all. Spoke with customer service and was told they do not do exchanges and that I would be fully responsible for the return shipment packaging and shipping costs. Very disappointed the problem was not resolved. I was even told "the item description does not guarantee the bag will not fall over when it should remain upright." Ridiculous. First and last Samsonite purchase for us. (Order# SAM00559348)
