This is an American made appliance equal to any European brand in quality construction and features. The control panel is easy to use and very intuitive. Cleans everything effortlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet, looks great

Looks great, very quiet. Love the third row on top for small pieces/cutlery. Only complaint is that it doesn't clean well if overly full. Have to fill it only about halfway to get my dishes clean (after trying several different detergents, etc.)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So quiet!

We replaced a 12 year old whirlpool dishwasher. This GE gets the dishes so clean! And compared to our old one it is silent. You can barely tell it's running. The bottle jets are cool and the top rack is super handy. I also love that you can flatten out the lower rack for bigger items. Only negative is that our mid spray arm broke about a week after installation. It is a super easy replacement, but was annoying to have to wait 2 weeks for the replacement.

Consistent computer and drain issues

This Dishwasher was great for the first 12-18months. However, not long after the 12 month warranty expired the computer display went out and we started experiencing draining issues. The repair team has been out to work on this machine 4 times over the last 13 months. The machine most recently went out again just before Christmas and is currently still not working. Technicians agree that we have a lemon and it needs to be replaced but GE continues to try and fix it only for it to go out 2-3months later. They have replaced the computer 2x, worked on the pump 3-4x as well as reprogrammed the computer with an alternate operating system as the machine (CDT706) and the computer continued to error out until they reProgrammed the computer to an alternate OS from the CDT725 model. This has only provided a temporary fix as the machine is unreliable and continues to fail at the worst times (2021 holidays and right before Christmas).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
