Returned the units. The issues with these are when they get hot the Wi-Fi signals goes crazy.

Incredible Mesh Network System

I recently purchased this Velop 2-pack system and am absolutely thrilled with its performance.
The Velop looks attractive and the upgrade in coverage and speed has been significant for my house. My previous router was a Linksys WRT1900 ACS, which is a great router. However, as the number of devices grew in our house, we were running into speed issues as well as the 5 GHz band being unreliable on the old router.
However, the Velop can handle multiple devices easily that require significant bandwidth. Signal strength is also much better now in many places around the house. The two ethernet ports on each node are very valuable.
The set-up is very simple and the packaging and product presentation is excellent. I would highly recommend this router to anyone looking for a mesh network.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this system did not even help to extend coverage 20' through one exterior wall.

It was just what I was looking for. Having my whole house cover wireless and was able to use one of my nodes to connect my printer to my wireless network.
