Haven't had the stove but a couple of months, but so far ok it seems to work well, it looks good at first I thought the top wasn't closing properly but I guess it's just the way its made.
I'm accustomed to having stoves that last over 10 year. The stove in my childhood home, lasted for over 18 years. When I moved into my second apartment (1995), that stove was already old...say about 1970s; and it continued to work when I moved in 2008. When I moved into my current apartment in 2009, the first stove died within the first 3 months. The second, died in four years (that was newish). Then, in 2013, the landlord got us a brand new one. That one died in January 2020. Each stove in this apartment seemed weak from the get go.
However, this one seems pretty sturdy. No sudden movement, when one bumps into it. Just gave it the first cleaning, even the drip pans released stains quickly. I feel like this one is going to last!
I went from a flat glasstop to this, so it was a big adjustment for me. It IS a nice stove for the low-ish price. The sensors on the burners for overheating are a nice safety feature to have. The stove and oven work as expected. No problems there. I only give 4 stars because of how hot the entire thing gets when the oven is on. The manual does state that it can get hot, but wow. That is hot!
I would recommend this to a friend!
