The option of using one burner as large or small by turning the proper knob offers a good option. especially for a family of two.The oven light is bright enough to clearly view what is baking, which means it is not necessary to open the door to really see the product. The one piece black glass top has no crevices to catch spills that have to be cleaned out one by one.I am very happy with the range and plan to use it for many years.Since it is quite new, I haven't needed to use the self-cleaning feature yet.
I relly really hated to give this stove bad marks. This is my 1st freestanding Whirlppol stove. I have previously owned A Whirlpool drop in stove with a smooth top and I LOVED it!! I have previously owned a Whirlpool smooth top cook top and wall oven and I loved them as well. I was remodeling a kitchen and didnt have it in the budget to replace the cabinats, so I had to get a freestanding stove. This stove has great features such as the dual element and the Accubake. I am a huge fan of Whirlpool appliances. With that being said...... The bottom drawer (for pans) on this stove is useless! I use mine for pan lids and not pots and pans. Everytime i pull it out, it falls off the track. It is flimsy and very frustrating. Whirlpool missed the mark on this area of their design engineering. It is a good value for the money though.
This stove really modernizes our kitchen and is a pleasure t

The stove produces even heat, especially the oven. My only dislike is the stove top and the difficulty of cleaning. I feel if the stove top was not black/dark grey but a light grey with more of a pattern, dust and spatter would not be as noticable. To clean the top takes considerable effort and patience. The storage under the oven should be more spacious with a higher back side of the drawer preventing lids and pans from slipping out the back.
We had a real older version which made us go for the newer model. We found this stove to be excellent except for cleaning. The glass to even with Special cleaner takes work to keep it from streaking
