I haven't had any problems with this range. My favorite feature is the dual zone cook top to use with a large or small skillet. The range is easy to use and clean.
The stove an oven work well as expected. It takes some effort to keep the stove top sparkling clean. Would like the stove temperature control knobs to have numbers which would help consumers to set the temperature more accurately.
I had to replace my stove when the oven would not turn off. I like the simplicity of the stove without having too many bells and whistles. I am disappointed that I was not able to get coil/solid burners without having to order and with is the size of the storage drawer. It is such a shame how small the storage drawer has become. Stove manufactures need to consider increasing the depth and the height of the storage drawer to accommodate cookware. Many of the kitchens do not have sufficient storage area and I had to find a place for my large frying pans, since they do not fit in the drawer now.
Overall the range works great. Oven temperature is consistent - it browns baked goods evenly. The one problem with the range is the black cooking surface. It is very difficult to keep clean. It MUST be polished after every use or it looks smeared. My last Whirlpool range had a lighter colored cooking surface and was quite easy to clean.
We purchased this product the week of Thanksgiving as our previous Whirlpool range, at 15 years old, finally breathed it's last. We are happy with our new Whirlpool range. I will give it a 90%! The one thing that I do not like is the fact that the drawer has a low back wall making it nearly impossible to keep the pans I store from spilling out through the back. This is very irritating. Whirlpool: Please consider an alternate design. Thank you!
A Good Stove for the money, but has a few things to be aware

This is a good stove for the money. It works well, seems to cook evenly and have a true temp. There are a few things to be aware of though. The cook surface does scratch pretty easily, so you will want to be very careful of the pots/pans you use. It would be helpful if the burner dials were marked with location (front/rear) instead of just colored dots , which can be confusing for some. The storage drawer isn't very sturdy and the plastic guides can pop off (we had to glue ours on). This stove is used in a vacation house, so it hasn't seen a lot of action. Not sure how well it would hold up for day to day family cooking.
