Best stove I've own and easy to clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was by far the best value stove I could buy at the time. Higher wattage than most in its price range and the glass stove top is so easy to clean. I like how the buttons in the front aren't too flimsy either.

Too much technology, too much trouble

I bought it a year ago, and thanks god I took the 5 year warranty because I started to have issues with it 4 months ago, the fan is doing a weird shaking noise when the oven is don, and now it started rebooting everyday and can't keep the time. Sometimes there even is an hourglass and we just can't use it so we need to turn off the breaker and restart it. Furthermore, the color black stainless is really just a grey, not at all like the picture. Oh! And I was forgetting, when there is water on your fingers or the screen, you can't use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Elements work great, oven works great and love the assisted cooking methods, real neat feature to cook frozen foods. However the touch screen for the oven is quite finicky and we’ve had issues with it. The main screen stopped working and we had to slide the range out and unplug and reset it to get it to work again. Outside of that, it’s as expected, great new appliance, and looks sharp.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned this slide-in range for 13 months. It replaces a KitchenAid which had come to the end of its functional life. While I considered KitchenAid, Maytag and Whirlpool (all are the same company), the Whirlpool offered "connected" features and a modern style that the others did not. The range works flawlessly. While it is not as fast as the KitchenAid that it replaces to reach desired oven temperatures, the information screen and the connectivity to my iPhone (which tells me when the temperature has been reached) make up for the slightly slower heating time. Regarding comments about the sensitive of the touchscreen, it's a matter of knowing your appliances and working with it. Yes, the oven light inadvertently gets turned on when I wipe down the panel. This just means that the touch switch is responsive (!) and you turn it off once you have finished wiping down the surface. As for the cleaning of the stove, my one beef with this range is the AquaLift technology. While I appreciate that it reduces the self-cleaning oven phase of the range from several hours (it was 8 - 9 on the KitchenAid) to under an hour, I just don't find that it does as good of a job as the traditional "heat until you incinerate" option of the older machines. Regarding the cleaning of the exterior of the range, the stainless steel surfaces are minimal so cleaning is a breeze -- the glass cooktop is like any other and requires the use of cleaning kit from time to time. The only option that I wish this range had was induction. Otherwise, I am fully satisfied with this range. At its price point, my opinion is that you cannot beat it for its style, connectivity, and innovation.

Beautiful smart stove
