A toy and a half!

The Super Station is huge and my kids ( boy 5 and girl 6) were super excited when the box arrived. They couldn’t believe their luck. Train sets are always popular but the fact this was Thomas and Friends, looked like a rollercoaster and had a few things to play with - crane, turntable and junction made it very exciting! My son couldn’t take his eyes of it and this kept them occupied for a good couple of weeks and was the focus of a couple of play dates at ours giving me some unexpected time to talk to adults! They used other trains on this and could add more carraiages or Thomas trains if they wished. They enjoyed racing trains down each side of ‘rollercoaster’ too. The only downside is that it is huge so takes up a sizeable portion of your living area and once the main station is put together, it is hard to dismantle and put that large bit back in the box.

I was sent this product to review with my 5 year old son and 3 year old daughter. At first glance it seemed like a challenge to build but the instructions were very easy to follow, the pieces are well made and clearly labelled. The super station is bigger than I expected but pretty sturdy and once the tracks are constructed it takes up quite a lot of floor space, depending on the track layout you make. The quality of this set is very good and my son in particular has enjoyed playing with it every day since we received it a few days ago. The set comes with a battery operated Thomas as well as 2 smaller engines and a helicopter. The track set is versatile to be used with regular and micro engines and has some good features such as hanging hooks for the trains which keeps them neat and all together. Overall the set is very good, well made and easy to build. My 5 year old can build the tracks himself quite easily. With the racing and the tracks plus Tidmouth sheds there are lots of different ways for children to play with this set. It really is hours of fun for a Thomas fan but also good for any kids that enjoy playing with vehicles in general. My daughter has enjoyed playing around the top tracks with the smaller trains and operating Cranky the crane. It is definitely suitable from 3 upwards. The only criticism from my son was that there aren’t enough trains included in the set which is why it’s 4 not 5 out of 5.

Thomas ultimate set (the best one yet)

Wow and wow is what i will say about the Thomas set it's a must have for any Thomas fan it can hold all the mini trains making it look super cool and all the Thomas trains are compatible on it so what's not to love, you can add all the tracks to it and make it even bigger. It's worth the money and it's easy to set up and can be set up in many different ways the fun is endless and brilliant quality it doesn't fall apart easy at all.

Instructions for Thomas & Friends was easy to follow and kids being kids don't want to follow instructions but putting stickers on is easy can put track in different ways you can use the different size engines mini magnetic or the wooden trains they all fit this track it's quiet big so would have a tidy up before putting up but my children loved it including the 8 year-old it come's with Harold and 3 trains my children found all there other train's out and had loads of fun they loved cranky the crane they liked the train storage on the legs you can take legs off and have station flat on the floor but we wanted to run trains down the track . I would definitely recommend this product amazing Thomas station for any train fan .

The set up May look complicated but it's actually very simple to assemble. My 5 nephews and nieces ( ages ranging 2-5 years) had hours of fun playing with the train set. It has many other arrangements for the track layout, which the kids loved building.

Looks like this was for younger children on the box but my b and 10 year olds loved it when it was set up. Took a bit of time to put together,and it takes up a lot of space so we will have to leave it up as the boys can't easily follow the instructions to change it around . They have Thomas trains from other sets and they work well with this too. They haven't stopped playing with it since it arrived, so definitely a good toy.
