The 72 oz blender makes a double batch of hummus in no time and blends veggies into a beautiful, smooth gazpacho. I like the flexibility in settings - either the automatic or manual, depending on one's choice. The small food processor is my go-to processor for a full range of processing - slice, cut or grate. I haven't tried the fresh vac yet, but the 20 oz smoothie cup is perfect for smoothies and also for chopping nuts and seeds., and the Ninja chops ice easily. The only downside is the amount of countertop and/or cabinet space needed for everything. All washable parts do beautifully on any level of my GE Monogram dishwasher. And the Ninja is a lot more reasonably priced than the Vitamix.

Very easy to use and works really well to get every smoothie perfectly blended. Seems really dura or and looks good in the kitchen. I like the vacuum system. I tried both with and without this, and the smoothies I make are a lot more "together" when I use the pump. Best blender I've owned, had a Vitamix previously.

I’ve had this system over 6 months and I absolutely love it. If you’re looking for a high powered system this is it, it makes wonderful smoothies using cubed ice. I have really been happy with it. I had a Montel Williams blender before and it didn’t last 5 years and it still didn’t completely crush ice.

So I really wanted a smoothie maker. That's all. Swiss chard, celery, mango, coconut...blitza zingity-zing. Carrot, tangerine, ginger, kale-o-rama, no problem? OK, maybe a bit of a prob with the high fiber stuff. For now I'm OK with chewing my "smoothies" because fiber is good right? Cacao nibs, almonds, flax seeds, and blackberries? Forget about it. I kind of wanted a choice between blitz it baby and savoring the cud, but this brand is not really the ticket for that kind of diversity. As for the "FreshVac" technology, I don't use it. Seems like a gimmick. Don't get me wrong, I have made smoothies with this Ninja every single flipping day (like 48 finished oz. per batch) since it arrived - about 4 months so far - and I really, really like them. But... I think I'd like some versatility. Smoothie magic is what I'm talking about. While I did purchase a Ninja gift for a house guest who loved the morning treats I made with this model, I think my ultimate personal smoothie future includes a pulverize option. I think I need something for those mornings when grapefruit pith needs to be liquefied and no organic lemon can handle the blade. When seeds and nuts turn to butter and my 7 am breakfast remains a jolt of power that my husband still consumes without grievance. Yeah. That's what I think I want. What do you say Ninja, up to the task?
