Easy for a First Time User!

I was very impressed with this product. I am not known as a top chef and the idea of making my own baby food overwhelmed me in the past. I never did it for my first and instead relied on store bought food. But if I had known this product existed, I totally would have used it! I love the ability of the machine to both steam and blend. It made it so user friendly and perfect for the "non-chef" in me to feel comfortable making my own food for my baby. My only concern was in that when following one of the recipes in the book, I was surprised to see that there were still a few apple chunks after making the Apple and Prune Purée. (It was my first try so maybe I didn't cut into exact 1/4-inch cubes or press and hold the blade button for long enough when I tried to blend more). Otherwise I absolutely loved how easy it was to clean and use! I would definitely recommend having the option to buy more of the reusable food pouches. There is not enough and I would definitely want the option to buy more.

Easy Two-Step Prep

I have a lot of iron in my water, so I use distilled water for steaming. I think it's great that everything is done in one container. I don't have to steam on the stove, and then transfer to another container to puree. Plus I don't really even have to do any of the work, besides chopping. Since this machine deals with food and water, I wanted to make sure I could clean every part of it, so mold doesn't end up growing. The drive shaft is not dishwasher safe, but comes out of the bowl easily, which makes washing great. The water tank has a very strong plastic smell, which was difficult to get rid of. Also, there's not really a great way to clean the tank. I put a paper towel in the tank, filled with soapy water, and shook it up. This is the only way I can figure out how to clean it. Where the steam travels in the lid, I also wanted to be able to clean. Thankfully it's just one screw to remove and a small piece comes off. The pouches are awkward to fill, but the included funnel does help. I feel like they're going to be a nuisance to wash, so I don't know how much I'll use them.

I like it for a quick food making. It makes making baby food easy. It's easy to clean, the only issue I have is that the lid has now changed color from food so it looks a little tacky. Other than that I would recommend this product!

Easy to use!

I received this product and was very excited to use it. I have only used it a few times, but was extremely pleased. I made homemade apple sauce. I need to be more adventurous. :) it was wonderful to be able to set it and "forget" it. I was used to doing all the prep work and then using a blender. Clean up was a breeze. I don't have a dishwasher so anything easy to clean gets my vote!!

Sleek and simple!

I've only used it a couple times so far but I love it! I had an older model before and I love that the water tank is removable now which makes for much easier cleaning. It's more compact then the last model I had but still has all that power and then some. The reusable pouches are a nice added bonus too!
