Had been using a stability ball in my previous career as a Cytotechnologist, now as a jewelry designer working at my studio design table, the stool is a perfect substitute.

What Out If You're Short

If you are short then this is not the chair for you. The seat is too wide and unless one has long legs the width is too uncomfortable. Others wise then that it would be a great chair.

I Would Purchase This Product Again.

THis chair was purchased to use at my long arm quilting frame. With it's adjustable tilting seat, it allows me to keep my feet on the floor yet take the weight off my legs a bit - helps with back strain when I bend over the frame as well. Rolls nicely, could use some more padding, but with frequent breaks is fine. Will take a bit of time to manage a graceful mount and dismount system:-)

I fractured my tibial plateau and cannot put weight on my left leg for 8 weeks. This chair helped me get back to work earlier than I otherwise would have. For my job, I need to stand for prolonged periods a few days a week. Sitting on this chair at its full extension allowed me to maintain my height (6'1") with my legs falling to the side, not to get in the way if I needed to approach something
