I’m already a huge fan of Vitamix products and had high expectations for the Aer - and it did not disappoint!! So far I’ve used it to make Strawberry Lemondade (so good and perfect for summer entertaining) and chai lattes (that foam!!!). What I like avout the Aer is that it’s a one stop shop and eliminates the need for different gadgets to whip, muddle, emulsify, and make foam. Also, it’s amazing how fast it works. I’d highly recommend this product and think it would make a perfect gift.
Pros: Durability, Easy to use, Power

Game-changer!

I really didn't think my Vitamix could get any better. Now, with this Aer Disc Container, I am able to create amazingly fluffy whipped creams and foams. I can't wait to try the muddling and emulsifying options as well. So far I've used it to create fruit-flavored foams for lattes, whipped creams, and today I muddled strawberries and basil to make popsicles. This really is a game-changer. The addition of this jar basically replaces 4 other appliances in my kitchen, making my Vitamix nearly the only appliance I need on a daily basis. It really is the perfect gift, especially for someone who already owns a Vitamix. I highly recommend this product.
This device does not make anything that your regular Vitamix container won't do. Lots of money. No added value.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Recipe Enhancement, Power

Unlike a typical blending container, the Aer disc container acts like both a muddler and a cocktail shaker, extracting essential oils and juice, while at the same time chilling drinks without crushing the ice. Liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them, while firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed. Here are some recipes you may want to try: https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/browse/recipes/aer-disc
I purchased my Vitamix aer in December and was very excited to try it. The first thing I did was make hot chocolate cor the grandkids and they totally loved it with all the froth on top. I have since used it for whipping cream very poor results. I read it took 15 sexonds no. Was liquid increased time and probably after 4 x 15 seconds got a lightly whipped cream. Just whipped some skim milk for my coffee, following directions to warm it fo4st. Not impressed with the amount of foam over liquid. So far am disappointed as finding it an expensive hot chocolate maker and quicker to use my mixer to whip cream. Do I have a bad product or is this actually the results others get? Would have been nice to have had a recipe book included with product

On page 21 of the recipe book that came with the Aer™ Disc Container, whipped cream will take 45 seconds to 1 minute on the highest speed. Please call 1-800-848-2649 with any recipes you are struggling with and we'd be happy to further assist you.
I’m a professional chef, always looking for new gadgets to make cooking easier. When I saw this I couldn’t get it fast enough. Having to wait for 5 days for it to be shipped was torture. I’ve had my vitamix blender for a couple of years at home ( have several at work ), and use it every day. When it finally arrived, first thing I made after giving it a good wash was lemonade. Lemon slices, simple syrup, water and ice. 45 seconds on high, strain, pour over ice into glasses. Same for mojito’s, and other muddled drinks. Whip cream, 45 seconds, perfect hollandaise sauce in less than a minute. Fresh mayonnaise, less than a minute. If you have not bought a vitamix blender yet, then the AER is the perfect reason to finally buy on.
Pros: Durability, Easy to use

I received my Vitamix a few weeks ago and have used it every week since. I love the size of the container and how well the aer disc works. The recipe booklet that came with the container has fantastic recipes. The Tomato-Basil Vinaigrette is so flavorful and the overall texture is perfect. I love how the aer disc emulsifies and aerates. It's perfect for any level of home cook! Now that I've made four recipes from the booklet (the mojito is FANTASTIC) I'm now confident to go on and try my own. Vitamix has once again created a useful, smart and efficient kitchen tool.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Product features, Power
The Aer disc container allows the Vitamix owner the ability to create low-calorie desserts like never before. All it takes is extremely ice-cold skim milk and fresh frozen strawberries (or another acidic fruit) with the lo-cal sweetener of your choice, to make a delicious strawberry (or other fruit) mousse in minutes. Prior to this development, such a whjipped dessert was only able to be accomplished in the home with handheld blenders for one serving. Now an entire family can enjoy a very healthy, low fat, delicious dessert using the Vitamix that they already own.
Pros: Speed of Service, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Recipe Enhancement, Product features, Power

Easiest cocktail I ever did make

With three young kids making cocktails at home has replaced going out for drinks after work for my husband and I on most days. This means more experimenting with cocktails in the kitchen and the new Aer could not make it any easier. Instead of the multitude of steps it often takes to make a good cocktail (much less a batch of good cocktails) the Aer is able to combine muddling and shaking into one easy and no mess action. Though I haven't used it for emulsifying purposes yet, I am thrilled at the idea of whipping up a quick hollandaise for fresh asparagus at a moments notice.
