Lemonade is so easy now

this is probably my favorite product for Vitamix. My kids love lemonade but i always hated squeezing the lemons. Now i just cut the lemons (with peel attach), add strawberry, water, and sugar. Something that use to take 30 minutes now takes about 10. Tips: use meyer lemon. The rind doesn't make the lemon bitter
I am a big fan of Vitamix and have been for years. I have almost every Vitamix product and I just bought the Aer and looked at the small recipe book with the very limited number of recipes. I tried to make foam milk but it didn't work. Whipped cream turned out fine but I can do whipped cream in the regular wet blender. Almost everything else in the recipe book such as mayo and hollandaise can be make in the regular wet jarl. So I'm not sure what the specific use of Aer is. It seems to me that the Are usage is more geared to alcoholic beverages. Would love to have more detailed information on how to use this product.

Great drinks, mayo and hollandaise not so great

I read several reviews about this product, I was very excited about it, it really works great for frothing and making drinks, however one of the main reasons I bought it was to make hollandaise and mayo, so the amount of eggs required in both scenarios is absolutely absurd, the only way I can use this machine for either recipe is if I'm cooking for 10+ people. I wish they could advertise or indicate this caveat, since it only makes sense if you are going to make a huge batch. I also tried to make mayo 2-3 times with the Vitamix recipe and all the times I ended with a very runny mixture that tasted terrible.
I received the Aer Disc Container as a birthday gift and couldn't wait to try out some of the recipes that I had seen online. I was surprised when I found whipping cream to actually be more difficult than using the wet blade as the disc doeasn't move the cream around after a certain point, but before the cream is completely whipped. I do like the hot chocolate that it produced but that is something I can do in the wet blad as well. IDK, I will try a few more things and decide whether this is really a must have or just an extra "thing" I need to find a place to store.

Hello and happy belated birthday! Here are some more recipes to try in your new Aer™ Disc Container: https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/browse/recipes/aer-disc
I purchased my Aer the first week it was offered. The recipe book only has a few recipes; it looks thick because it gives you the same recipe in four languages. The unit is nicely built and does what it says, so if you have a need for any of its functions then you might enjoy it. For the price, I can’t really justify its usefulness.
Pros: Texture Quality, Product features

I’m already a huge fan of Vitamix products and had high expectations for the Aer - and it did not disappoint!! So far I’ve used it to make Strawberry Lemondade (so good and perfect for summer entertaining) and chai lattes (that foam!!!). What I like avout the Aer is that it’s a one stop shop and eliminates the need for different gadgets to whip, muddle, emulsify, and make foam. Also, it’s amazing how fast it works. I’d highly recommend this product and think it would make a perfect gift.
This device does not make anything that your regular Vitamix container won't do. Lots of money. No added value.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Recipe Enhancement, Power

Unlike a typical blending container, the Aer disc container acts like both a muddler and a cocktail shaker, extracting essential oils and juice, while at the same time chilling drinks without crushing the ice. Liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them, while firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed. Game-changer!

I really didn't think my Vitamix could get any better. Now, with this Aer Disc Container, I am able to create amazingly fluffy whipped creams and foams. I can't wait to try the muddling and emulsifying options as well. So far I've used it to create fruit-flavored foams for lattes, whipped creams, and today I muddled strawberries and basil to make popsicles. This really is a game-changer. The addition of this jar basically replaces 4 other appliances in my kitchen, making my Vitamix nearly the only appliance I need on a daily basis. It really is the perfect gift, especially for someone who already owns a Vitamix. I highly recommend this product.
