I am happy with my Aer Disc. I use it very often - primarily for whipped foam for coffee, mayo, and hollandaise sauces. However, the included recipe book is pretty useless so I must go online for recipes, I cannot make large batches of anything - best amount of skim milk for best foaming is only 1 cup, and more user “best practice“ tips would be so great.
does foam. you can do everything else on your regular vitamix. unless you own a coffee shop seems expensive to just foam

Hello, yes the new Aer™ Disc Container foams beautifully, but you can also master whipping, muddling, and emulsifying in one of the most versatile blender attachments on the market. Here are some more recipes to try: https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/browse/recipes/aer-disc
I bought it to make a high protein desert called Protein Fluff. It cuts down on the time making this low fat recipe.

not Blackberry Panna Cotta. I prefer a smooth panna cotta and did not like the seeds in this version.
Pros: Texture Quality

Hello, blending Blackberry Panna Cotta in the Aer™ Disc Container will combine the beautiful texture of muddled blackberries with sweetened cream. Liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them, while firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed.
I bought it excited to use it but I’m a bit underwhelmed. The recipes in the book and on the site are very limited. I guess I need some real inspiration because right now it’s collecting dust.

Hello, we currently have 30 recipes on our website that hopefully you can pull some inspiration from: https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/browse/recipes/Aer-Disc/. The Aer™ Disc Container is a specialty container where liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them, while firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed. Let your creative juices flow.
I love my Vitamix! This was a purchase by proxy, so I picked this Aer Disc. It doesn't froth cold milk or coconut milk, but only hot milk. It froths up Margarita's too much, but maybe after I work with the device for a while, it will do what is intended. I will be trying Hollandaise.
I love my vita mix and am always ready to try the new attachments. This machine always saves me so much time. I have the new Aer Disc container that leaves some of the pulp in the berries and greens. It will seperate the hulls from strawberries! Leaves the smoothie to be perfet.
