I've had my Vitamix for years and love it, but unfortunately I don't feel the same way about the Aer Disc container. There are only a few things you can use it for, which admittedly is evident from the marketing. Other reviews mention that it comes with very limited recipes, which is true, and very frustrating. However, my biggest issue is that it comes with no instructions at all (except for how to wash it). They do not tell you HOW to use it to foam, emulsify, muddle, or whip. All you have to go on are the measly 11 recipes they provide. Therefore, I've only used it twice, once to make a foamed beverage, which worked, and once to make Hollandaise sauce, which turned out way too thick even though I followed the recipe. I regret making this purchase - it was a waste of money.

I was excited for the aer disc container to make cold foam but I can’t get the consistency that I was hoping for. Also had an epic failure emulsifying. I have a feeling this container will sit unused most of the time.

It is important to use chilled non-fat milk to blend foam for beverages. We recommend starting the machine on speed 1 and increasing speed to Variable 5. Blending for 45 seconds should fluffy foam.

Purchased this during a sale. The recipe book that came with it I have found to be worthless. Nothing in the recipe book that I will make. I’ve tried a few things on my own and everything has been so-so. I could have just used my frother on my espresso machine. I’ve looked online for further recipes and not much luck. Waste of money and now it sits on counter, not impressed.

Glad to add another Vitamix feature to my kitchen arsenal. Still getting to know it, but satisfied so far. Wish Vitamix would create more and broader reaching recipes aimed at the aer disc container so we could dive into playing with those recipes. As it stands, there are only a limited number of recipes focusing on the container. More please, Vitamix!!!

I’ve had this device for about 2 months now. Made some drinks, sauces, and lots of hot coco ...it’s really good at frothing and blending without destroying. However, I do hear odd grinding noises with it that I don’t hear from my normal blender container(64 oz classic). Also, there isn’t many recipes with this. So I’d recommend it if you liked drinks or sauces, but beyond that it hasn’t been incredible like vitamixs other ideas. I’m sure it will get better with time though. I would also say I’m not sure if I’d use this at a party because the blending and grinding noise I get from the container are really loud. I am happy I got it though and will use it for a long time.

I got my Aer Disc Container a few weeks ago, and I immediately fell in love with it! I use it few times a day, when I am making coffee and when I am making a strawberry lemonade.
