We spend a lot of time here @thefeedfeed in the kitchen, and we're always testing out new and exciting products - but none have changed the game for us, quite like the Aer has. We've found ourselves using it for everything, from making perfect emulsions to berry studded whipped cream. You will not be disappointed by this container and it will have you looking for excuses to whip things up in the kitchen, no pun intended! Absolute MAGIC!

We are already big fans of the Vitamix -- so naturally when the Aer came out we were eager to try it out! We love making drinks, both cocktails and fun fruit infusions, so the first thing we tried was a simple strawberry lemonade. IT WAS PERFECTION. And it took all of 2 minutes to make. Since then we've made so many drinks and every time the Aer produces the most perfect muddle and foam. Lastly, cleanup is a breeze since it's dishwasher safe. Obsessed with all the AER!

I use my Vitamix for all the things, except for emulsifying, whipping, and frothing. The new Aer container makes all those other things possible. My newest love (for summer) is iced matcha lattes and this container is the ticket to smooth, creamy, frothy lattes sans clumps of matcha. Definitely putting it to good use. This Aer Disc Container is genius! I used it to make strawberry whipped cream for a no churn ice cream recipe, and it came together in a matter of seconds (using a hand held beater takes forever and is a lot messier!). I also love that it can crush and muddle fruit simultaneously, which is a task I'd formerly leave to the bartenders. It’s very easy to clean and it would makes a great gift. I bought it to replace the traditional container because I thought it work to make smoothies. Reviewing the characteristics is not clear if it works or not for these kinds of products. To expensive to make sauces.

The Aer™ Disc Container has a disc, not a blade. Liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them, while firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed. Go beyond blending smoothies. Master four classic culinary techniques (whip, emulsify, muddle, and foam) in minutes.

I have already purchased two blenders 5300 and A2500 from Vitamix directly and Dry blender from Amazon.com . I am so happy with all the Vitamix products. But recently I purchased Aer disc container that don't work on Vitamix 5300 although it says it will work with all Vitamix machines. very disappointed . the blade does not work it only stirs . need to return/ replace

Yes, the Aer Disc Container is not intended for making the traditional smoothie. The Aer Disc Container will whip, muddle, foam and emulsify. Liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them, while firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed.
