A unique and much needed kitchen tool

The innovative blade design makes this an essential tool for the kitchen. I was extremely impressed when I made the blackberry panna cotta and noticed how only the essential berry part was shaved off while the white core was left behind. This thing is just too much fun! I love when you can find so many new uses for a staple kitchen item like the Vitamix blender. Since recieving this for review from Vitamix, I have made mojitos, absolutely amazing hollandaise sauce (which can be very tough to get right made otherwise), and even killer chai lattes.
The Aer really does a beautiful job in aerating your creations without busting up the larger ingredients. The resulting texture is wonderfully smooth. Much more so than emulsifying by hand. Well done, Vitamix! This one is a keeper.

Amazing Tool!

Over the last four years, the Vitamix blender has been a longstanding favorite kitchen appliance of mine. Nothing beats the expertise, versatility and design of the Vitamix. Which is why I was beyond excited to hear of a new addition to the Vitamix family - the Aer! The moment I received the package, I ripped open the box as if it was Christmas morning and immediately made a coconut milk matcha latte - heaven! I’ve always wanted a thick layer of foam, but could never achieve it at home. I used the Aer to create a frothy layer of coconut milk, and within minutes, I had a cafe style iced matcha latte.
From frothing, to emulsifying, to making panna cotta all in one blender - I am honestly over the moon to have the Aer in my kitchen. I will be experimenting with it all summer long. Cheers to innovation!

We spend a lot of time here @thefeedfeed in the kitchen, and we're always testing out new and exciting products - but none have changed the game for us, quite like the Aer has. We've found ourselves using it for everything, from making perfect emulsions to berry studded whipped cream. You will not be disappointed by this container and it will have you looking for excuses to whip things up in the kitchen, no pun intended! Absolute MAGIC!

We are already big fans of the Vitamix -- so naturally when the Aer came out we were eager to try it out! We love making drinks, both cocktails and fun fruit infusions, so the first thing we tried was a simple strawberry lemonade. IT WAS PERFECTION. And it took all of 2 minutes to make. Since then we've made so many drinks and every time the Aer produces the most perfect muddle and foam. Lastly, cleanup is a breeze since it's dishwasher safe. Obsessed with all the AER!

I use my Vitamix for all the things, except for emulsifying, whipping, and frothing. The new Aer container makes all those other things possible. My newest love (for summer) is iced matcha lattes and this container is the ticket to smooth, creamy, frothy lattes sans clumps of matcha. Definitely putting it to good use. This Aer Disc Container is genius! I used it to make strawberry whipped cream for a no churn ice cream recipe, and it came together in a matter of seconds (using a hand held beater takes forever and is a lot messier!). I also love that it can crush and muddle fruit simultaneously, which is a task I'd formerly leave to the bartenders. It’s very easy to clean and it would makes a great gift. I bought it to replace the traditional container because I thought it work to make smoothies. Reviewing the characteristics is not clear if it works or not for these kinds of products. To expensive to make sauces.

The Aer™ Disc Container has a disc, not a blade. Liquid ingredients are pulled through small holes in the spinning disc, aerating and emulsifying them, while firmer ingredients like ice, fruit, and herbs are agitated but not puréed.
