[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace same make & model which quit working after 12 years. The purchase price was double what was paid 12 years ago. The original ice maker had to be repaired often - replaced water pump multiple times.. even replaced complete wiring harness. Due to the custom cabinets in our kitchen this make & model was our only option. Hoping this new ice maker is not a lemon like our original one.
Pros: Compact
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the loudest ice maker in the world. I am told they won’t take it back because it is out of the box, well let me tell you, you don’t install them in the box. Salesman Jim.

Unit gets very hot and makes pantry very warm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice maker is not a great choice for an enclosed area. I have it in my fairly large pantry and the unit gets so hot that it causes the entire room to get very warm. So warm that meltable food in my pantry has melted and been ruined. Had 2 service calls with in first 2 months after install and both service techs said the unit was operating correctly and that this was a common complaint.
Pros: Attractive Design
Cons: Difficult To Clean, Hard To Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
