Smooth shave even on my head

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the shaver free from Braun so I could use it and review it. It's currently the time of year when I shave my head and this shaver gets comfortably close without needing to use a razor. There was virtually no pain from snagged hairs and cleanup was surprisingly simple as the majority of the stubble got caught in the shaver instead of ending up in the floor.

Solid all around shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not used a foil shaver in almost 5 years! I recall moving away from foil shavers because of the amount of irritation I experienced due to going over the same spot multiple times to get all the hairs. I currently shave everyday with a manual blade, but after receiving the Series 3 for free from Braun® I am now reconsidering my daily regimen. This shaver matches the results of a manual shave with 3 times the comfort and value.
As a manual blade user, I am used to a close, smooth shave. I have also grown accustomed to the occasional discomfort and skin irritation that comes with it. This is one of the reasons I love the Series 3! It gets as close as my manual blade without feeling like I am scraping away at my scalp. The thing I hated most with this shaver was when I shaved without anything on my skin. It took a long time to achieve the desired look and my face was on fire. I tried it with a pre-shave oil next, this helped with the comfort , but the hairs did not catch as easily forcing me to go over the same spot multiple times. My absolute best experience with the Braun Series 3 was when I shaved with a shave gel. There was little to no mess, I did not have to shave the same area as often, and I got the closest shave with this method. The Series 3 has shown me what I was missing in the shaving world and I am glad to have the chance to check it out. This experience definitely convinced me to keep an eye out for Braun during my next trip to the store.

First electric since I was military

Wow what a difference, the Braun series 3 shaver, which I got for free from them!!! I have agreed to try it and share my thoughts. Bzzagent thanks for hooking me up with Braun! ð
1) amazing package and feel- the case is form fitting and charging/stand is functional yet compact for travel- the razor itself handles in hand like a dream. Think of the custom feel of driving gloves and this falls into that dynamic.
2) 1st shave- ok- sticker on the package says it can take several days to a few weeks to adjust, took me approximately 1/2 a face and we were good to go! Smooth, clean and great lines on my goatee thanks to the trimmer that's mounted on the back.
3) cleaning up the razor- took just a minute and it's done! Superb and hassle free.
Next review- wet shaving with the Braun series 3!

Nice razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the braun series 3 it is a great razor. With microcomb it waterproof and easy to clean. Nice charging dock flexible cable. The trimmer are no exact and dont have pace for the charging cable if i go to travel dont have space to carry on however my new braun series 3 on my opinion its a 9.5 star

Gets better everytime

I have real sensitive skin no rash or bumps. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT

finally a foil shaver that works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] normally i shave with a trimmer or disposable cartridge razors because frankly i have never had a foil shaver that did a great job. so when braun sent me the series 3-3080 i was hoping that it could hold up and it actually did! i used the trimmer on the back to cut down the facial hair then the foil to shave just as close as a razor in less than half the time. it also holds a charge very well you can get several uses before you have to charge it. great job braun!!

This really is a great shaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this product form Bzzagent to review for free as I've always used electric razors and I'm always looking to try something better. Knowing going in that this was a mid range model from Braun, my expectations were tempered as I'm used to using the top of the line shavers from various brands. Having used rotary shavers for the past few years I was ready to try a foil shaver again to see how they stack up at this point in time.
This Braun shaver is nicely constructed, if you didn't know the retail price, you would think it retailed for easily twice as much. It comes with a nice little case for travel which is useful to keep the shaver from getting damaged. It is also wet dry so you can take it in the shower. So how does it actually shave? It shaves fantastically and every bit as good or better than the rotary shaver I've been using that is over twice the cost. Having used a blade once or twice in my life, I can tell you that none of the razors shave as close as a blade, but this is pretty close and the shaver has the option to drop one of the blades to make it easier to shave under the nose and other harder to reach place. This is a very nice feature that usually makes rotary shavers come out on top. The trimmer is strong and does a good job as well. This shaver will likely become my primary shaver, its fast and does a nice job giving me a clean shave.
Now for the bad parts. Its a foil shaver and that means its loud. Loud enough that the first morning I used it, the dog started barking which doesn't happen with the rotary shavers. It is also a bit awkward to place in the charger. If you are shaving in low light, getting this thing back in the base is quite tough as it goes in at an awkward angle. That's really it, if you don't mind a loud charger and taking an extra 5 seconds to figure out how to get it in the charging base, this shaver will do a very nice job.

Braun® Series 3-3080

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few weeks ago i received this razor from Braun and I must admit I was a bit skeptical. I have owned a Norelco for years and I rarely use it because for me it is uncomfortable and sometimes it feels like it is ripping my facial hair out as opposed to cutting it. Needless to say that this alone turned me off to electric razors. So upon trying the Braun I was aprehensive to say the least. I must admit that this razor is amazing. It gave me a nice clean, comfortable shave and the mess was minimal around the sink. It also has two features that my Norelco does not have. It is a wet dry razor and it has a built in trimmer for sideburns and the like. On top of this the rubberized grip on the body makes it feel very comfortable in your hand. I went from not using an electric razor for years to having this one become my daily driver. Thank you Braun for the oppotunity and changing my opinion on what an electric razor can be.
