remarkable shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was very leery starting out with the shaver as it was the first shaver that i had ever seen that said it could be used wet or dry. i couldnt believe that this actually worked and worked amazingly well at that. not only did i get the close shave of the electric razor i was able to use shaving cream as a soothing agents. this has now become my go to razor it has cut down on my shaving time. instead of using two different razors to do the job i now only have to use the one.

nice razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my Braun Series 3-3080 free from Braun it was the first time I had ever used a foil electric razor. I have used a electric razor many times. I was a little concerned with what the results would be. However, I was very pleased. The things that I liked were how quick I was able to shave and how close of a shave it gave me. I also loved the battery life, I was able to charge it once about 2 to 3 weeks.
Things that I was not impressed with was how noisy it was. One other thing was that the blades on the foil razors need to be replaced more than on the regular electric razor.
Overall I am very pleased with razor. I will be using it and enjoying it.

Better than other rotary style electric razors I've used

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun razor is the first electric razor that Iâve used that isnât a rotary style electric razor. I was hesitant about how well an electric razor would perform compared to the standard manual razors because of my previous bad experience with the rotary style electric razors. To my surprise, the razor outperformed all my expectations. It shaves almost or as close as a manual razor without having to use any form of shaving gel or moisture. This is perfect for a quick daily to 2 day shave without consuming a lot of time in my morning routine. The battery has lasted over a week after using it daily for a week. Iâd highly recommend this razor to anyone who is looking for a manual shave feeling, but loves the convenience of electric razors.

It has been the best Electric Razor I have used,Their are a lot of juunk out their, don't waste your money on them,Get a Braun Series 3-3080,You can't go wrong with this!

I own a Philips Norelco 3 head rotary razor and although I like it I was very excited to get to try the Braun razor FREE from Braun. I am very impressed with the shave that I get. Even though it says it might take 3 weeks for my beard to get used to the new razor, it has not I have gotten an excellent shave from the very first shave. I have commented to my friends how much I like it and that I have now put away my old razor for good. This razor gives a very close shave without having to go over the same spot over and over. I cannot say this about my old razor. I can use my new razor in the shower saving me time to get ready. With my old razor I had to shave before showering or wait for my face to completely dry. If you are looking to get a new razor this is one worth taking a very close look at.

Still a foil razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of an actual blade (I still haven't tried straight razors, but even so). I've tried a few different electric razors and never had any luck.
The plus side: This razor was super comfy to hold. It felt elegant and comfortable in my hand. My old foil razor always felt blocky, this one was more comfy. I liked the ability to make one of the foils drop, to do things like your upper lip.
The bad side: Just like every other foil razor I've tried: It doesn't get all the hair. It took my ten minutes of shaving to get a semi-clean face, and even so I still had to run my razor over my face to get remnants and stubble (especially under the chin (see photo)
Now, there is a warning on the package that say that it will take a few weeks for your beard to get used to this razor, which is a nice warning, but since for me an electric razor is a second choice (and/or a travel choice), that just makes me think my beard will never get used to the razor and it will end up in a drawer until my next trip.
Next time: since this is a waterproof wet/dry razor, I want to try it with a wet shave (shower and/or cream) and see if it improves the quality of my shave
One final note: Another plus is that there is very little razor burn from it. My tip to others is to use some water or some kind of lube to reduce the friction to reduce it even further. I added a little water to my face and it got more comfortable. I'm looking forward to trying a full wet shave next time.

A Fancy Schmancy Razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Braun Series 3-3080n razor in the mail and I was super excited. Upon coming out of the package, the first thing that struck me is that the razor looks BEAUTIFUL. It's sleek, it has its nice blue accents, and the charging cradle that it comes with is also a great little display for it. It's definitely not a product that I have to worry about hiding in the cabinet after it's done charging.
I'd never used a foil razor before, and it can be a little intimidating when you first use it. Where are the razors?! Am I going to cut myself?! The answer is no! The blades on the razor contour to your face, which is super cool once you get used to it.
The big thing for me about the foil razor is that it's great if you're shaving every day. The razor gives a nice close shave and will keep you smooth as a baby's bottom. But if you're like me and lazy and only shave a few days after you should have, it's not going to be the most fun experience. There is a long hair razor on top, but it isn't the best and feels like a last-minute thought. I also couldn't understand how to change any sort of length settings, so if you're looking to keep a little stubble going, you might not be able to.
Overall it's a solid razor. It looks good, feels good, and for the proactive shaver, will keep you nice and smooth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i think the braun series 3 is hard to use, the hand position takes a little getting used to. the battery on it dies very quickly. its cool because of the clipper connected to it which gets pretty close to the skin itself, the actual shaver itself leaves soft baby skin once you get the hang of it, pretty nice for my first electrical barber shaver
