Braun Series 3 Razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After shaving with the Braun Series 3 razor for past couple weeks, I got a close, smooth shave every time. I noticed that using it with shave gel works better than just shaving dry. There are a lot of great features this razor offers like the precision mode that works great for hard to shave places. The MicroComb is also a great feature that makes shaving quick and easy with the burning or razor burn other razors sometimes gives me. Overall this is a well designed, high quality razor that assures a close, quick, and pain free shave every time.

Try the Braun series 3-3080 if you haven't already...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Braun3-3080 shaver for free to review. I have been using An older Braun model for the past 12 yrs. This is my review after using for two weeks. The new one is very similar to the old model except it now features three independent floating cutting elements. This works very well to the different contours of my face. If you like close shaves, then this will definitely fit your needs. It also seems like it takes a few shaves for the blades to break-in before that hair pulling feeling isn't there anymore. Another feature that I love that my old Braun didn't have was that I was able to use it in the shower since this model is 100% washable. I was able to pop the cover off and rinse off the blades right away. I rarely use the built in trimmers on either shaver but they serve their purpose of trimming long strands of hair you may find the barber may have missed. The shaver comes with a sleek neoprene travel case and a charger base. Overall, I was pretty happy with this new model and will finally retire my old one.

Great electric shaver

I have used this razor for over 3 weeks now and am impressed at how smooth my face feels. I have used electric shavers before but I have a feeling I will stick to using this one.

Switching to a new technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Several days ago I received a package with Braun® Series 3-3080 inside absolutely for free from Braun company to test at home. So, I tested for couple of days using every day and came up to a final conclusion. Braun® Series 3-3080 is a perfect for those who like manual razors, and for those who like electric razor. Its foil shaver is in reality very soft and smooth. It can reach any spots and shapes. It is totally amazing. Also, as for me it is very important, it works even on wet skin. I feel comfort for a whole day. This new Braun® Series 3-3080 got a new feature: MicroComb technology which helps to get any hair and reach them everywhere. I am impressed. I got rid of my old razors which are on a picture below because I got more powerful and stronger razor than I had before.

Braun Series 3 - 3080 Meets Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this when the campaign was announced. I should preface my review by admitting that I am not an every day shaver. I shave two, maybe three times a week depending on how many client meetings I have. I had been using a Braun electric exclusively for the past 8 years. When I was younger shaving with a blade always irritated my skin, so electric was my only choice.

I have now used this new Braun exclusively for three weeks and it lives up to expectations. It charges fairly quick and has a smaller size charging station than my big "self cleaning station" with my older Braun. The surface area needed on the counter was minimal and will travel very well. It is pleasant to hold and a good size for my hands (I have big hands). It felt good on my skin and the foil was not irritating at all. The feel of the shave was not a plucking feeling at all either. It did not get close enough versus a blade. I had to go back over certain areas on my face versus using a blade that was a one time swipe. The feeling completely changed in the shower. I was able to maneuver the razor on my skin much easier than dry. And I felt like it got a lot more of my facial hair in the initial swipe, without having to repeat over and over.
I did not like trying to clean it after using it in the shower. I'm sure its clean, but I have sensitive skin; so I worry about spores or bacteria on my razor surfaces. I always felt very comfortable with my "self cleaning" Braun, or at least it smelled clean. The shave of this razor was comfortable for me, and afterwards I had no burn at all. I did not like the cut from the trimmer piece on this model either. The older version cut much better and was much more functional. I like to trim my neckline, around my ears, and my sideburns. This version did not do a better job, it was disappointing.
Overall, I was pleased with this Braun series 3 razor. It wasn't heavy, too small, or awkward to hold or use. It is a great replacement for the 9 year old Braun I had been using. This will be my travel razor and I'll use it to trim on days where I might not feel like lathering up. I do not feel like comparing the electric to the blade is fair, I like them independently, in this case I'll stick with my blades.

Awesome Electric Razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think, if you are looking for an electric razor, don't waste your money on anything but the Braun Series 3 razor! I can't believe what a close comfortable shave I get every time I use it. I don't shave everyday (maybe every 3rd day) so I do have some longer facial hair and the Braun Series 3, still gives me a very close shave and doesn't pull at my facial hairs like the old razors I have used in the past! With this great of a shave, It has to be due to the triple action cutting system with the Senso foil and it shaves so fast that you aren't wasting extra time shaving, when you have a lot more things to do! I really like that you can shave wet or dry and still get the closest, most comfortable shave that you could ever have!!!

BRAUN Series 3 - 3080

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using a Norelco for a couple years and have been happy with it, didn't think it could get any better. But with this new Series 3 that BRAUN sent me is amazing! It gets A LOT closer and I don't have to go over areas multiple times. Its 100x easier to clean and you can even wet shave with it. This thing is perfect for anybody! Great product!

I prefer some straight lines when I shave, the Braun Series 3 didn't work the best for that because the clippers were quite wide. But the shape and grips fit my hand perfect, and it cuts real close.
