Pretty good, I like that it is made in Germany. However, it has a tough time getting a close shave around my jawline. Mine also didn't come with the cleaning brush but whatever I have a ton of those. Also the precision shaver on the back isn't that great in my opinion. But works pretty good but I have another electric for almost half the price that works just as well... So kinda disappointed but it does work as a wet shaver so that's a plus. I have mixed feelings but for the price, I would not really recommend it.

Your Braun Series 3 Shaver certainly should have came with a cleaning brush so we're sorry to hear that it didn't. Also, it may be helpful to know that it can take up to three weeks for your skin to adjust to a new shaver. It's best to hold the shaver at a 90 degree angle and stretch the skin to shave against hair growth, changing direction as needed. We suggest using a gentle touch and letting the shaver do the work. This razor is far superior to the series 9 Braun.

This razor is far superior to the "self-cleaning" series 9 Braun. It shaves faster and closer, is nicer looking, and is actually much easier to clean. I recommend using an aerosol spray can to spray it with air to easily clean it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Razor burn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I usually get really bad razor burn from y electric razors. this new gift from the gods (AKA Braun Brand marketing) is the newest miracle in my life. I have dumped my old rotor razor and am now sleeping with my braun to keep it safe from home invaders and aliens trying to steal its awesomeness. The side to side action with small holes instead of slit's is whats making me so happy. I would recommend every male have a new Braun S3.

Close Shave Contender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work around a few hazardous materials daily at any moment I would have to dawn SCBA gear(full-face respirator). Being clean shaven daily is a must for my job! I received this device last week and decided to try it out. The first day I used my Schick Hydro (also a test product that made me switch brands) for that close shave. The next day I used the Braun on my way into work, the shave was close and kept my face irritation free. Day one also stated my battery testing phase which lasted the work week before placing it back on charge, 5 days of 7+ minute use with battery to spare. I have tested this product wet/dry both provided a decent shave. On weekends I do not shave with that I tried to use the Braun with a 3 day stubble and it was very time consuming. Overall the Braun will make it into my work use shaver.

Excellent shaver, flawed charging system

I have just bought a Series 3 3040s to replace an older Braun shaver. It shaves really well and leaves me with a much smoother skin than the old one and I therefore rate it highly. However, there are 2 problems, one minor and one more serious. The first problem is that my razor came with a non-coiled charger cord despite the coiled cord shown on this website. This is inconvenient when traveling. The other more serious issue is that the shaver will not operate when plugged in and charging. So if you run out of charge while shaving, you are stuck until the shaver has charged enough to operate without the charger plugged in. This is a real retrograde step from my older Braun shaver which could be operated just fine while charging. Why has Braun gone backwards on this?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product but problems with ones purchased.

Recently purchased one of the more expensive Braun Electric Razors. Returned to store for replacement. due to the razor not charging and non operational. After returning this one I was given another new one as a replacement. Two months later the same exact thing happened. Razor would not charge. Returned again and decided to purchase the S3 Braun, 3080s. After three months use the charging cord is not working to charge the new razor. I am contacting Braun Customer Service to see what they will do to correct this problem by sending me a new charger cord. I know it is the cord because I purchased another 3080s for a Christmas gift and tried the cord from that razor and my razor charged again. Must be a defect in the cord chargers. Braun QA needs to look into this problem.Been on phone with Braun customer service on hold for 25 min. No answer. Not good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
