Great Razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For one who tends to have a good amount of stubble or even a full beard; who doesn't use a straight razor often, this Braun wet or dry razor is just what I need.
It's as quick as a trimmer, and gets a nice close shave just like a straight blade razor does, but without the burn.
Comes with a super convenient carrying case, great for traveling!

Very Pleasant Shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am quite surprised how well the Braun shaves. I didn't expect such a close shave. After 1 week I am still experimenting on how I need to adjust my shaving habits. Going from a razor to the Braun, I have had to change the direction that I shave my neck. Once I have it figured out, I'm sure shaving will get faster. I am also pleased that I use a lot less shaving cream with the Braun.
The battery seems to hold its charge well. I have not had to recharge it yet, and I shave daily.
I have not done price comparisons with my razor, but I would recommend the Braun already.

keeps going strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my series 3-3080 from braun for free and so testing it like any other thing taste a bit of time. so with a shaver it can be easy or hard to wait depending on how its build to not give pain lol.
I have had my share of these test trials as I am a lazy shaver as I only shave for work or I would let it grow until it becomes a birds nest.
so I am happy to shout out at the top of the shaving isle that the series 3 performs and does so with ease and style. after a few weeks of good use the battery still fires up right away for good long power usage to take your time and shave with ease.
that's the great thing its an awesome shave, it gets close with out cuts and it cuts with no burns wet or dry and with the trimmer it has it can carve you burns or your beard unto and shape you want or just simply keep it in check for you stylish ways .
for me its just that easy pop the top off and just brush it out to clean it or rise it under water and let it dry. let alone just push a button and shave but not just shave enjoy it because its all time we men have to spend and if its enjoyed its not wasted time.
that's what the series 3 does for me and that's not waste my time so thankyou braun and all the people who created this wonderful shaver

Great razor, close shave, beats a rotary razor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed by the soft, gentle and surprisingly close shave I got with the Braun Series 3-3080. The hard to reach areas were a cinch when I used the "Precision mode" option on the razor which allowed the foil head to contour better to my hard to reach areas. I also had no problem making a straight cut on my side burns. And I did NOT have any "transition" issues switching from my rotary to this razor as this razor was already much more gentle than my current one. The worst thing I can say about it was that it's a bit louder than my current razor but the shave was worth it! I've always been a "default" rotary razor guy, only using a rotary because I got it as a gift many years ago. Now that I've tried the Braun Series 3-3080, I see this razor being my daily go-to razor of choice for many years to come and give it a 5-star rating!

Great shave

In some ways better than my Braun Series 7-760cc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was contacted to review and receive for free the Braun Series 3-3080 from Braun, I was excited but expected to be a bit underwhelmed, as I regularly use a Braun Series 7-760cc which is a higher model but older generation. I must say that the Braun Series 3-3080 outperformed my expectations immensely--I cannot tell the difference between a close shave by my 760cc and my 3080. I actually shaved half of my face with the 760cc and my other half with a 3080--no difference can be seen between the two both immediately after shaving and also at the end of the day.
One thing I really appreciated was what Braun calls "Precision Mode" where you can retract half of the shaver so that it is easier to shave under the nose and jawline. This seriously makes a world of difference and makes my life a LOT easier. It makes the area under the nose a LOT easier to shave and also makes it easier to get a closer shave. In fact, I have completely stopped using my Braun 760cc for the area under the nose and exclusively use the 3080 for that purpose now.
One thing that is a bit annoying about the 3080 is that I find the power button VERY hard to press down to turn on and off. However, I expect that to get easier as the button wears down.
The 3080 does not have all the features that the 760cc has, but you do not expect it to because it is a fraction of the price. I personally appreciate the extra features of the 760cc (cleaning system, more customizable settings, etc.), but if I were on a stricter budget I would definitely get the 3080 and know that I am still getting a great and easy shaving experience.

Not the most powerful

The Braun® Series 3-3080 shaver was okay but it didn't do that great of a job compared to the Braun Series 5 that I have. Braun is a trusted name that I like using but I will continue to use the Series 5.

Pretty good Shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shaver handled itself pretty well. I liked the precision setting, it gave me a little more control on my beard. It came with a nice case and a nifty charging base which was another plus. I am looking forward to using this for a long time.
