Braun S3...close but not far enough...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Braun S3 3080 from Braun. the presentation, packaging and prompt delivery was what I expected! The S3 instruction booklet is simple, informative and to the point. I was on and using this baby in 3 minutes. I usually don't use electric shavers and decided to give my Hydro 5 a break. To begin with I have a coarse goat-tee, which I grew purposely for this product. To my amazement I am able to use shaving cream with this shaver! That's awesome. Anyhow, I began to shave, but I noticed the S3 did not know what to do with coarse hair longer than half inch. I tried and tried but it did not do much. However, the S3 was super comfortable, the right weight, it remained cool, and the moving shaving head was perfect for me. In the middle of it I changed my method. I went back to my razor to remove the longer part of the beard, and there and then, the S3 excelled! The closest, painless shave I have ever had. Extremely smooth finish, faster than with my Hydro 5 and cleaning it was a breeze. For being my few times using an electric shaver, I totally recommend this product. I will be using this S3 every other day from now on.

Very Close Shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I've used electric foil shavers in the past, but I must say, the Braun series 3-3080 is the closest thing I've ever had to a blade! I was skeptical at first, I'll admit it, but this shaver is great. I've used it both wet and dry and the shave is smooth and there is minimal irritation. (Lets be real, EVERY type of razor will irritate a little.) The handle is soft and ergonomic, making it easy to hold and grip wet or dry, no fear of slipping. I also like the way it feels on the throat, which can be a treacherous area for those of us with sensitive skin. I also like the trimming edge for lining up my 'stache, etc. You have to clean it very well, I can't stress that enough, but since it can be used wet, I've had no trouble. If you're looking for an electric shaver, you will love the new Braun series 3-3080.

What an amazing razor

I am still amazed at the closeness of the shave and how great it makes my face look and feel :) I keep asking myself why I never seen or tried this shaver before! I love the charge that the battery holds as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First and foremost let me thank #Braun and #bzzagent for allowing me the opportunity to try the new #BraunSeries3 #gotitfree! I've had this electric shaver for a little over a month now and as excited as I was to try a new method of shaving for the first time in an electric foil shaver. I'll be honest I keep my head shaved and I was kinda hoping this would take the place of using a razor.. As well as keeping my face trimmed of course. After a month of using this product I still use a razor as well as a trimmer.. And now the Braun series 3 as well.. Lol. As much as I wanted this to replace those, alas it did not. It doesn't cut as close to my face as I'd like, I have to go over at least three times to get the results I need. I tried to shave my head with it once but it caused some irritation on the back of my head so I just used a razor. I've yet to find a use for the precision trimmer in the back yet... But it's quite lovely to look at on the upside. It did not replace any of my current grooming products but did become a nice addition to them!

Good razor, great battery life, over all I'm pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got a free sample of the Series 3 razor from Braun it was the first experience I'd had with a foil electric razor. I have always used an electric razor but, prior to this, they were always of the rotary type. I have to say I was pleased with the result.
Things I liked: It has a quicker shave than I'm used to and does has a nice close cut. The battery life is great - after using it for a week and placing it on the charger after each use I decided to test it out. I don't usually shave daily but probably at least 3x per week. It has been at least 3 weeks of shaving at this frequency without needing to recharge.
The things I didn't like so much: the first thing I noticed when I turned it on was that it is quite a bit noisier than the other electric razors I've used. I'm not sure if that is all foil razors or just this one. Also, from what the company recommends, the blades on foil razors require replacement it seems much more often than on rotary ones.
Overall I think this is a great razor, does the job and gives a nice close shave. I'll be using it for the foreseeable future.

Braun Series 3 3080 Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Braun Series 3 electric razor and I must say that I'm really impressed. The shape of the razor fits comfortably in your hand and the outer skin has a good grip even if your hands are wet. If your like me and have been using a rotary shaver, give this razor about 3 weeks to actually be getting the best shave. I like the fact that I can use this razor in the shower with shaving cream or if I'm in a rush, I can do a dry run. Very easy clean up and the battery charge lasts a long time ( i've had this about 1 1/2 months and the initial charge is still going strong. Like I said, I'm highly impressed with this razor and would recommend it with no hesitation.
