nice cut but very confusing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i think that the braun series 3 is a very cool shaver. for a first time user of an electrical razor it is very confusing in how it works. i had a hard time trying to figure out the angle to where it actually starts cutting. i am still getting used to it. i think i may just be sticking to straight razors for a while until i get the hang of it. otherwise the extra razor clip on the side was very cool. you can get a pretty close shave with just the clipper part. i just wish i knew how to use an actual shaver before i tried this product, the directions are pretty confusing.

A Concise Conclusion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The purpose of this review is to give you a comprehensive overview that will help you decide whether or not to invest in the Braun Series 3 as your razor of choice.
Packaging and Product Overview - The box comes with a convenient travel case, a nice stand and charger, and a small brush for cleaning. These products are of good quality, and the battery life allows for travel without the need to bring the charger.
Battery Life - As above mentioned, the BL on this is incredible. One charge lasted me over a month of moderate shaving. Your results may vary on your time-per-shave
Versatility - The idea that you can use an electric razor with shaving cream is crazy! Crazy enough to work too!
Quality of shave - Technique is critical. You can get a good shave with this razor. I personally need a rotary razor to mop up the extra spots. The tools provided to you - a water-resistant razor that can handle shaving cream, cleaning brush, a tool on the razor to adjust closeness, and an attached trimmer, are all nice accessories to create a compact shaving experience. It is super effective in cleaning up my face most of the way. Little is left for my rotary to clean up, but in my case I require that last step.
Hair Pulling - You don't have to feel like a mall Santa if you use this razor with cream. I was impressed at how smooth it was to shave with some shaving cream. It will likely require more "laps" on your face though. If you are careful and treat shaving with care, your technique with this razor can remove the dreaded tug.
Appearance - This is a nice looking razor. I like the design.
Cost - That's up to you. I'd range this as a good mid-high quality buy. Replacing the blade apparatus should be really easy and seamless.
Conclusion - Read more reviews, and really consider if this Braun is right for you.

My experience with my new Braun series 3

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Braun I got a chance to get a free Braun series 3 razor to test out. Upon receiving and opening the box I was pleased with how nice the razor looked. Looks can be deceiving though. Even though its well built and durable feeling I am not fond of the inconsistent shave it gives. My cheeks got a perfect smooth shave, but as for my jaw line and neck not so smooth, it left a bunch of stubble along with pulled my hair under my chin/neck. It also has a pop out razor to fine Trim like side burns etc. But once again not the cleanest shave, I had to go back over everything with a disposable razer to get the shave consistent and help line up my side burns and goatee. The only real good thing about the razor was it catches your hair as you shave so you don't have a mess to clean up when you're finished, other than that I definitely would have returned it if I had purchased the Braun series 3 myself.

Best Wet/Dry Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is one of the best wet and dry trimmers on the market. The Braun brand is one of the best brands around. After trying this its was a Hit for my family not only me. I used it and pass it around to other family members though out the month they all feel in love with it and hope to get one for christmas. The triple action cutting system and SensoFoil is one of the best on the market. It will leave your skin feeling baby bottom smooth.

Great Shave with an Electric Razor
on November 2, 2015

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will admit it... I am a lazy shaver. I usually only shave once a week or less just because it is not my favorite thing to do. I have used electric razors before, many different brands, and, honestly, I haven't been impressed. They typically leave stubble, and make it difficult to get into those tight, small spaces, like under the nose. But not the Braun Series 3-3080. This razor is fantastic. At first I figured it would be like all the other electric razors I have tried before, a disappointment. Boy was I wrong! Thus razor is fantastic! Not only does it give a great, close shave, but it can be used wither wet or dry. This is a major plus! When I am in a pinch and need a quick shave, dry is the way to go. But when I have time to spare, I like the feeling of a wet shave. It is easy to clean and charge. I like the pop up trimmer as it helps me get a close shave where I want one, like my sideburns or under the nose. I would recommend this razor to men who are looking for a great shave with an electric razor. I received this product to sample free from Braun.

I don't think I could go back to a razor after using this shaver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using razors since developing facial hair, whether that be a straight razor or the one where you replace the blades, this Braun electric shaver is on another level.
The first great thing about the product is that it is completely waterproof so I tend to use it while I am in the shower. I usually use it dry only when I am running out the house quick or for quick touch ups. Using it with shaving cream it is a nice smooth and quick process that is less of a hassle than with traditional razors. It also cleans out really easy as the top cap just comes off with just enough force to not feel flimsy yet not too hard to pull off. It rinses out really easily. It is recommended if you wet shave a lot to put a little clipper oil in the middle shaver to extend the life of the top piece.
As it warns in the package your skin will take up to three weeks to get used to such a close shave so you may develop razor bumps in that time. It was true but it was not a big deal as the bumps were single ingrown hairs that had a white cap that was easily popped and how a whole row of razor bumps that razors leave me. I do have pimples and the shaver easily glides over them and the contours of my face. The blade locking feature really helps when getting into tight areas like under the nose. I only had the razor bumps for a week and a half and have been clear since.
Speaking of close shave, I have never gotten as close a shave with a razor as I have with this shaver. It leaves my skin nice and smooth with little to no stubble. Hair is barely visible if at all and the shave last for an extra day. The battery life is also better than I expected, I have charged it once, since using it for at least 8 shaves and I am still not getting the red warning light. I live in an older building so I do not have outlets in my bathroom so I have not charged it for 4 weeks as I leave it in the bathroom.
The extra trimmer piece on the back is really helpful for taking down over grown hair before shaving. I do not have a lot of neck hair and when I do use a razor on my neck it is sensitive to razor bumps. I use the trimmer to pick off those stragglers on my neck and continue shaving my face.
I was excited from the moment I knew I was receiving this product and have been raving about it ever since. It really is a product I plan to use for a long time to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THe Braun series 3 works much better than my panasonic. It has a solid design and gives a close and very comfortable shave with no irritation. I have a very thick beard and shave every day. the braun breezes through in very few passes and I don't have to push hard against my face. No razor burns and no ingrown hairs. I am very pleased with the performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is hands down the best razor I have tried. The Braun Series 3-3080 wet/dry shaver gives me an extra close shave and leaves my skin softer than ever. I never thought I would like shaving in the shower but this thing is amazing. Thank you Braun for allowing me to try this product!!!
