Good Shave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think... that the Braun Series 3-3080 provides a good shave. Not quite great, but good. The only thing I think the product could improve on is provide a closer shave, however I am comparing the closeness of shave to a traditional blade razor. I did receive the product free from Braun. The ease of use was very easy. I don't use an electric razor normally, but this product has changed my view on them for the better. I would definitely recommend trying this razor out. Another plus of this product is it did not leave any nicks or razor burn.

The 2nd Try

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried it wet this time, just to see if it helps. Unfortunately, the razor still did a poorer job than I would have hoped. My conclusion is that the razor is a great option to bring when you don't have the opportunity to carry a regular razor, it feels great in your hand and fairly smooth on your face, but all over, I would still choose a regular razor over an electric shaver.

Amazing closeness for an electric razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most electric Razors don't give you a close enough or comfortable enough shave. Well, the Braun Series 3-3080 has similar technology to the new 360 razors that contour to your face shape. How they do this is by making the blades swivel. The charge lasts forever as well, I have charged it for an hour and it lasted me two weeks already. I'm very impressed with an electric efficient razor for your face. This razor can also be used in the shower for convenience.

For no other reason than I used razors, but I must say after using the new Braun series 3 foil shaver for a few weeks now, I think I've been missing out! I would experience some irritation with disposable razors and less so with refills but with the Braun series 3 I have had none, zero, zilch! Great product and at a affordable price for those who have never had the pleasure of experiencing one of these machines for themselves. Sleek look and very nice looking next to the sink in its charger. I'm glad I got to try this..changed my entire perspective on razors.Thanks Braun and Bzzagent!

Finally! An electric shaver I love.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried other electric razors and usually stop using them after the first shave. I dislike the way they pull my hair out rather than shave it off. I gave the Braun 3-3080 a try and it didn't pull out my hair, not even once. I really like the quick shave I got from the Braun. My face felt good and I didn't get ticked off with pulled out hairs. Of course my wife likes it because now I shave everyday instead of waiting to use a razor. I also have adult acne and the Braun shaver worked around that as well without cutting or irritating my skin. Finally, an electric shaver that will let me get rid of my razors and shaving cream. I highly recommend the Braun 3-3080. Give it a try so you can be in love with it too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that for a shaver that I got free from Braun it works pretty well. This is actually my second review of this product after I had a long while to try it out. While most of my original review is true (shaves darn close, quick, portable, decent battery life, etc) I have to admit there is something that may be a deal breaker. While I don't like to shave the Braun razor does a pretty good job on a 1 or maybe even 2 day beard. For me, anything above this causes you to be tortured. Imagine someone grabbing a handful of your whiskers and tried to pull them out all at once. Freakin' ouch! I can use the integrated trimmer to bring the whiskers down as much as possible then shave but that still makes it a longer process than desired. I can make quick work of a 4 or 5 day beard with a Mach III in no time flat.
To sum up what I'm trying to say is that if you shave every day you will love this thing. If you do not shave every day and go to use this thing you may find yourself spending much more time and discomfort using it.

Not good for coarse hair

Victor of my own personal Shaveoff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I decided to have a shave off between my old (unnamed) trimmer /shaver and this new Braun Shaver. I would shave the left side of my face with the old one and the right side with the Braun. The Victor would be chosen by whichever one had to go back and get whatever the other missed. Now I did have to use the old trimmer with the guard to take down the monstrosity of a beard I had grown over the past month. But that's not what the Braun is for so this was not part of the shave off. I started the Shave off with a number 3 on both sides.. So I went to work on the left side of my face with the old trimmer as I usually do.. And Surprise it was exactly what I was used to. Now for the newcomer. The Braun. I must say at first it was a little awkward to use for edging my beard but nothing I can't get used to. But it definitely made a much nicer line then then my old one. And now for the main event.. The Close Shave. Now I used it dry to keep it fair as my old trimmer cannot be used wet. With my old trimmer I'm usually left with something similar to a 5 o'clock shadow( or as I like to call it the I shaved yesterday). The Braun got so close it felt like I actually shaved! So needless to say I had to go back over the left side to edge aswell as close shave! The Bruan was the clear Victor over my old trimmer that thing is going to sit in my drawr and only come out when I need to make everything one length before I use my new Bruan.. Can't wait to use it wet!
