I think I will make the switch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to start this by saying I have always used a razor for as long as I have shaved. can count on one hand how many times I have used an electric shaver. I always felt like it pulled the hair on my face, making them much more painful than the occasional razor cut. With the high price of cartridges, a rechargeable shaver started to sound like a more viable option. I received the Braun 3 to try for free from BzzAgent in exchange for an honest review. So, here is it.
The package came in the mail in what looks like its retail packaging. Just kidding, it came in retail packaging. When I opened the box I had in my possession an electric shaver, charging mount, wall charger, a small brush for whiskers, and a convenient zipper case that can fit the shaver and all its accessories. Pretty nice for a travel companion. It comes about half way charged.
Now for the shave. It took me a time or two to get use to using an electric shaver. In that, I found that I had to go over some patches of hair on my neck a few times to get rid of all the hair. Keep in mind, I only had two days of growth. With all of that, as I used the shaver more, these spots got easier to shave. I will say the Braun 3 provided the closest shave I have ever had in all of my years of shaving. It didn't have the hair pulling effect the electric shavers I had used in the past either. The trimmer on the back is great for shaving hair anywhere as I kind of got carried away with its effectiveness. Although I am still getting use to the change, I think it is safe to say I will be making an eventual shift. All said and done the Braun 3 is a top tier cordless shaver.

Smooth and close

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a rotary razor for years and have switched recently to a disposable due to my dissatisfaction with the current rotary razors. The Braun 3080 has given me hope for electric razors. So far so good, even leaves my head nice and smooth too.

Great product when used with shaving cream

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brauns Series 3 shaver is just awesome to use. I had been using a rotary shaver for last couple of years and was somewhat dis-satisfied with that. I used to shave using a normal razor now and then. I then got this product free from Braun. The best things i liked about the product is -
1. It comes with a docking station to charge. So there is no hassle to plug-in charger everytime.
2. The travelling case that came with it just amazing and very convenient for travel
3. We can use it with shaving cream and that makes it much more useful. Personally, if i use the electric shaver dry, it feels little hard on my skin, and with this one using along with cream was awesome experience.
I use to shave every second day, but after I started using this, now I have been shaving every third day. The shave is so close and clean that it has saved my lot of time of shaving.

My Braun series 3-3080

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free Braun 3 razor for free from braun. Upon opening the package I was pleased with how nice the razor looked. The razor has a few perks. It has a nice charging stand to set it on when not in use to keep it fully charged. I also like how it catches the hair so you don't have hairy mess to clean up when you are finished shaving. An added bonus is it has a pop up trimmer to trim your side burns or in my case my goatee. I also should mention it is water proof as well. The down fall and why i wouldnt purchase. It works ok and that's not OK with me, the shave isn't consistent. My cheeks get a complete smooth shave, as for my neck it pulls the hair and doesn't give it a complete smooth shave along with my jaw line, so I have bald/smooth spots then spots with stubble. In my opinion it has all the right stuff a razor should have, just not satisfied with the inconsistent shave. I've used it 3 times hoping it would do a better job but nope not a razor I would buy.

WHAT'S ALL THE BUZZ ABOUT THE BRAUN SERIES 3 RAZOR?!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, when I was received my BRAUN Series 3 Razor for FREE, from Braun I thought this is one stylish razor! I've been shaving with a straight razor for years trying a few of electric brands popular on the market. Always returning to the straight razor for the closest possible shave. Although I've always associated Braun with the best I had never tried their razor before. Well I am converted! Maybe it's the German technology, however I got the closest shave from an electric razor EVER seriously guys as good as - no BETTER than a traditional blade! The MicroComb technology in combination with the triple action cutting system is so smooth on my very sensitive skin. For the first time I tried shaving wet, IT WAS AMAZING! I love the rubberized grip (As I am pretty clumsy...) and the fact that I can still use my favorite shave cream. Clean up is super easy just run under tap water, or you can use the Braun Clean & Charge station which mean your razor is not only like new for each shave but you never have to think about charging again. I highly recommend the Braun Series 3 Razor to anyone who likes a fast, close and comfortable shave!

unexpected delight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so after receiving the series 3 from braun in the mail for free to test out, I of course had already shaven before that day so I had to wait for something to grow first. which was good because I needed a good growth to test it out not caveman growth but a good 10oclock shadow.
I have never really expected much from electric shavers as the best I have found was a womens pink leg trimmer I use to get close enough to pass muster for work.
so when I tried the series 3 which first off the battery was almost fully charged already so that was a great surprise which I will get back to in a moment.
it is east to turn on and easy to use I prefer the dry method so I do drop it all the time but does work still with cream or electricshave type things.
this sill is understated as I found out using it, as it was like a dream shave for my face, not only does it follow the curves and bumps of my face it does what no other electric or manual shaver has done ever for me and that's not getting caught up in my hair and yanking on it to bring tears to my eyes when I shave. that was the most amazing part because I went over my lips above and below it only cut clean and fast and did not scare me to shave with.
now getting back to the battery was another surprise it lasted it really lasted, most shavers even fully charged let alone just out of the box slow way down half though the shave as with electric it takes a little longer than manual so it dies a bit and again you get the tug of war with your face but the series 3 does not it lasts.
now the trimmer on the other side for slow ups is great for trimming those side burns as well as neck areas were longer hair grows and is very easy to flip/push up and go back down fast and easy. you get a smooth shave and not razor burn or at least I don't have anyway
cleaning it is very easy as well, just pop the top off brush it out which it come with and rinse and let dry and your good to go again. same thing for charging its simply pops in light blinks until is fully charged and to bars stay solid to let you know. the cord is kind of short on the charger so make sure if your going to put it on the counter its close to an outlit but really its not a problem because its meant to sit and charge so you can have it across the room and just grab it if need be.
the braun series 3-3080 gets 5 stars and it earns it every step of the way to make shaving easy smooth and pain free

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Per Braun sending me this razor, this was actually my first time using a foil style razor, and the experience was quite decent. The trimmer was as effective as I expected it to be, and I was impressed with the fact that I could use the razor with shaving cream on my face to get a really smooth shave from this electric razor. It's very powerful, built well, and designed intelligently. I had absolutely no issues with this razor, and that's how it should be.
