Fits our small space, cooks faster than expected

We were looking for a small MW oven close to 1000 watts. We found it. This model cooks faster than our old MW and fits in the same space. The preprogrammed timed shortcuts are easy to follow. Since it sits on a countertop, the angle of view of the buttons is a little awkward and could use backlighting of the text. We like the interior size and lighting. It cleans well, both sides and glass plate.

Perfect (small size, 0.9-1.0cuft) for family of 3-4. Nice stainless front. I would prefer stainless all around but all is black; only the front face is SS. Still nice.

We've had this microwave for about a month. It's good for basic stuff, so far: making oatmeal, reheating dinners. It also defrosts frozen items, but it can be a little slow. Overall, we're happy with the unit.

Malfunctions

I would like it if it worked properly! But the door must be slammed shut or complains door open. Then, after removal of item, when door is closed, light stays on and turntable turns until door is again slammed!

Wished the door would not be so loud and ridged when closing. Beeping sound is either loud or have the option to turn off sound- either or no in between.
