Best speaker for price and size

I tested a lot of speakers and I expected that the other bigger names would crush the audio quality of these guys; however, these ones outperformed all of the other similar speakers under $100.
Setup isn't exactly intuitive but once you figure it out it's not too bad. Pairing with the second speaker was probably the most difficult part.
One surprising feature is that it will power off both speakers when you power off one in a pair which I find really convenient.

Annoying function

Every 15 minutes or so the unit turns off to preserve battery life forcing you to go to the speaker to turn it on again.

Sound effects

The sound is good and is louder than other small bluetooth speakers I have. Mine came with a sticker on the speaker holes, so I had to carefully peel it off. Something significant unmentioned in the item description is that when the speaker has jolly sound effects when you turn it on, off, and when the battery is low. Kind of warp-y, electronic happy sounds. So you can't turn it on or off without it making those noises.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the 2nd one I've bought. I have two jam speakers and they both lasted for about 5 years, no problems. I don't have much more expectation for the price paid. I actually hang mine around my neck, when I'm out walking the dog etc...as I have this thing about being aware of my surroundings...which I feel earbuds leave me a little vulnerable when out in public. I wore out in summer, winter, rain , snow...it always worked no problem. So I'll keep ordering the Jam products as I've been very satisfied with there performance and durability.
I would recommend this to a friend!
