Frustrating is an understatement.

Never remembers pairings. A bluetooth speaker with occassional bluetooth functionality is a waste of money. Useless piece of plastic. Do not buy. Stick with Sony.

I have 2 of these, had them for about 2 months, just recently my master unit started beeping. I downloaded the manual to see why, turns out I haven't been charging it, my old guy tech skills I just left the end of the wire in the speaker, and assumed it was always connected in its storage spot, I'm a dummy but the battery life is astounding!

Connects but is very itermittent

When I connect it to my laptop, it shows up as a Headset or Headphones. If I select headset, there is no bass, its very flat and only one channel plays, also it turns itself off after about 10 minutes. It is plugged in directly to the wall outlet the whole time. If I select headphones, it connects and the bass and both channels is on, however, it stutters, like its a bad connection. The Hang Around sets right next to my computer, so there is no interference, etc. Ive disconnected, reconnected multiple times to no avail.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exchange don't under warranty

I was brought this as a present. Worked straight from the box... I was so impressed by the sound and just how easy it was to use.
Unfortunately the buttons stopped working. The unit was returned to the retailer who swapped it without question.
The new unit is fantastic. I am buying another one to Bluetooth for stereo in my garden...can't wait.

Small size Big sound

Excellent little speaker with big sound. Simple to use and nice touch that a charging cable and sync cord are included and easily stored away in the bottom of the speaker in a fairly watertight compartment. Nice feature to be able to sync 2 together! Too bad it doesn't float!!!!

Great until it breaks

It’s only a month old and it’s already bugging out. The speaker will not turn off and there doesn’t appear to be any way to reset it. It was fantastic sound quality but now it’s unreliable and anything but portable as it has to be plugged in all the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love Jam speakers - this is no different

I've got Jam headphones, a big Jam speaker and now this (got it for Xmas). I'd bought a wireless speaker for my sister and ended up getting myself one because it was so good.
This is no exception - the sound quality is excellent, the attached charging cable is a life-saver, and it's great when portable! When I'm watching Netflix on my laptop I plug this speaker in because the sound is better than Bang & Olufsen!
Jam customer service is excellent as well. I'm saving up to get another one haha! If you're in two minds about it, you won't be sorry getting this, I've converted friends and family haha!
