I had tested several speaker brands today before testing JAM's speakers. I fell in love with my Hang Around the moment I heard its sound. I was blown away with excitement. This is the speaker for me. I love the shape; the fact that I can hang it and that it fits great in my snack basket. The price was right for sure and I am happy with its value. Integrating the charging cable with the speaker was genius and this feature also makes me very happy. Outstanding!
P.S. This is the first time I have ever written a review within hours of purchasing a product. Well done! Everybody gets a raise!

WoW! How Is It Possible?

This speaker was a gift from my niece.
I've used JBL and Denon BT speakers costing much more and this fifty dollar job blows them away. Acurate highs and amazing base.
Easy to connect and easy to use.
Well made and well thought out overall.

Key Flaw in what's advertised

I bought two Jam Hang Arounds a few months ago with the intent of pairing them to listen to while at work. Unfortunately, they refused to pair, and the hieroglyphs used as the instructions are terrible at explaining what is required to pair them, as well as having to slog through over an hour of YouTube videos to find 30 seconds visually showing two hang arounds next to each other while the YouTuber talks about their connecting capabilities, just to have them not demonstrate it. This morning I bought another hang around, and it refuses to connect to either of the other two I have.
Overall decent sound and if you need a single speaker it's great, but don't waste the money if you're looking for something that'll connect to another speaker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sound quality good, Not double chill

We were looking for blue tooth speakers that can pair with each other.
The sound was great but the reason for 1 star is this product does not do what it claims to do which is the feature to connect to a second Double Chill.

- The speakers can only pair when the initial mobile device is connected via bluetooth. AUX connection seems to confuse the speaker and fails to pair the second, which means if you connect it to a PC without a bluetooth extension, it wouldn't work
- Even when it is sucessfully paired to a mobile device via Bluetooth, the second double chill would disconnect every now and then, or play audio that is choppy or slightly delayed.

These are a huge disappointment. A single double chill works great, but if I only needed one there was no reason in buying these.

Instructions are rubbish

Bought two with intention of pairing while streaming radio on an iPad., The instructions might as well be in Swahili and if I don’t get this sorted in a day or two they are being returned as not fit for purpose under Australian consumer law

Quit working after an outing or two

After using the speaker for a beach/dock day or two, it quit working. Despite giving it a full charge, the speaker now automatically shuts off after two to three minutes of play time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Useless for laptop

Bought this to use watching stuff on my laptop, it disconnects after every power down, needing to be unpaired and paired again to work everytime. I've never had this problem with any other speaker i've bought even if it only says compatible with Ipod. Incredibly disappointing and can't even get a refund. Plenty of other speakers that will do both.
