Poor pressure cooker

I am too unsatisfied with my purchase. After six month of my purchasing it got defected. meat, veg or beans takes more than 2 hours to get cooked. and It can not keep pressure inside and takes 3 sec to steam out all pressure. Very poor product and I dont suggest it to anybody to buy it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best deal, if you know, you know

This specific model from insignia is actually a rebranded instant pot made in the instant pot factory. You can check YouTube videos where they open them up and prove it. At 1/3rd the price of an instant pot this is the best deal. It also means that instant pot parts work with this in case anything breaks.

Autocuiseur D'insignia est une très bonne marmite. Elle est parfaite pour les jeunes comme pour les vieux. je n'ai pas à surveiller mes plats durant la préparation. je lance la cuissant puis je me repose ou je sort sans inquiétude.

Used as a slow cooker so far. Quite and work's good. Just have to add less liquid to make a thicker sauce.

I never owned a pressure cooker before! So I was hesitant to get one! Because it was on sale I did the purchase! I have been using it since! It saves me time and money! Time is a commodity I don’t have! The only drawback is the coating inside the pan. Other than that I have no issues! I will look into if there is an all stainless steel insert I can purchase in addition! I’m afraid to scratch the coating! Loving my Insignia cooker thus far!

I love this pressure cooker....easy to use and safe! I like to cook big batches of rice to freeze in portion size, so I precook brown rice in the pot with a bit of oil before putting the top on, and it cooks the brown rice perfectly - not mushy.

Its been working well for me so far and my food is usually cooked as I want. I have used it to cook beef, chicken, beans and chickpeas. I have also used it to bake cornbread twice and it was so good. I plan to use it to bake cake soon.
I also plan to use it to make Nigerian moi-moi with the cooking stand one of these days.
It has turned out to be a good purchase. I definitely recommend.
